This resort hotel is located on the southern coast of Pangla Island, adjacent to Bohol Island. It takes 120 minutes by boat from Cebu Island, and 40 minutes by taxi from the port. If you request a transfer to the port from the hotel, it costs 750 pesos per car one way. The hotel is on private grounds, so it is safe, but there are no restaurants or shops nearby. Villas and guest rooms are scattered around the grounds, and the restaurant and pool are located in the center. The restaurant has very reasonable prices for food and drinks, even though it is a resort hotel. Both breakfast and dinner were of satisfactory quality. Although it has been many years since it was built, it is well maintained and cleaned, so the rooms do not feel old. I stayed in a deluxe room, which was spacious, with a comfortable double bed and single bed, a desk and a chair. There is no balcony, but there is a chair and table outside the entrance. The sink is separate, so it is easy to use. The toilet and shower booth are in the same room, separated by a shower curtain. There are no pajamas or disposable slippers. There are no bottled mineral water, but there is a water server at the entrance of the building, and you can fill up your room with water using the kettle. The best thing about this hotel is the beauty of the private beach right in front of you. The pure white sand, the many palm trees, the clear blue sky, and the clear emerald green and blue sea make this a paradise resort. You can see many tropical fish and coral reefs while snorkeling, and I was lucky enough to encounter a clownfish. However, be careful as there are a lot of jellyfish depending on the season. Also, there are stones and dead corals on the bottom of the sea, so you should always wear marine shoes. All equipment is rented for a fee. There are also many beach activities. All the staff are friendly and smiling. Bohol Island has famous places such as the only living tarsiers, Chocolate Hills, and very large shopping malls and markets, so I would like to stay at least 4.5 days.

We stayed a total of 5 days and 4 nights. From the time we booked to the time we arrived then left, service was very friendly, warm and consistent. Every staff we approached or interacted with were always willing to help. Am still amazed how all their staff (front desk, waiters, drivers, gardeners, guards, lifeguards, room boys, dive shop staff and guides) are trained so well, always ready and willing to accommodate your request and to make you feel welcome. This in itself made our stay quite welcoming and comfortable.
The beautiful white sand beach and clear blue azure waters is stunning. As mentioned in other reviews, Dumaluan beach has most likely the best beach on the island. Unlike Alona, which is mostly covered with sea grass, the beach fronting BBC has large white sandy areas where you can swim and lounge during the mornings to early afternoon or while the tide is high. We also dove the house reef which really had not much to see. If you should go diving, skip this site and just go directly to Balicasag island (schooling jacks and lots of marine life).
Facilities are maybe a little older but are quite spartan and very clean. The resort is very well maintained as you could always see staff performing various preventive maintenance work around the grounds. We stayed in a Beachview Suite (507) which had unobstructed views of the garden, palm trees and beach, which allowed us to relax in its large comfortable balcony. The suite was perfect as we woke up every morning with a beautiful view of the beach. Just the perfect spot to have your morning coffee. The resort has a lot of palm trees, plants and green grass adding to its relaxing and beautiful ambiance. It is in a sprawling beachfront property with wide open spaces so that it never felt crowded despite the many guests. It was always very peaceful and nice to be able to hear the palm trees sway in the wind. Their outdoor massage was also an excellent way to end the day.
Food choice and quality was a 3 star at best, but it was acceptable considering the reasonable prices and 5-star quality service and beautiful ocean views. The breakfast was not very exciting in terms of food selection and got a bit monotonous. This could certainly do with some improvement. We had a few meals in South Palms resort, which is right beside BBC and food choices and quality was much better. Prices were also competitive.
Our overall experience at the Bohol Beach Club was extremely good. Not only do we highly recommend it to others, but we would definitely be coming back again. Kudos to Management and all staff. Thank you for a great stay and experience BBC!

Dear paragon0418, Greetings from Bohol Beach Club! Thank you very much for taking time to write about your recent experience with us. We are very much appreciative that you have expressed your satisfaction with the way we have provided service to you during your stay. We do take steps to ensure that we are able to achieve guest satisfaction and your detailed narrative lets us know that we are doing things right. I do have to say that Bol-anons are innately kind, courteous and well-mannered thus they are easily able to provide genuine Filipino hospitality, without effort. We are very lucky to have them complete our TEAM. One of our objectives is to ensure that the resort does not get too crowded, even during high occupancy. Now more than ever, space is essential for all of us that is why we take effort to ensure that at any given time, the resort does not get packed by observing carrying capacity guidelines. We likewise want to keep our surroundings as green and natural as possible in order that guests can enjoy time away from the concrete jungle. We do acknowledge that for diving, our house reefs’ corals have suffered damage due to typhoon Odette that hit our island last December though aside from the remaining corals and few fishes, we have been lucky to have regular spottings of whale sharks and other creatures that cross the area. Definitely, Balicasag remains to be the best dive spot here with Pamilacan a close second. With regards to your experience with our food, I do thank you for raising this up as we would like to make sure that we are able to make the necessary changes and improvements, whenever needed. As we do take continued steps to further enhance our offerings, you can be assured that improvements will be made. Thank you once again as we anticipate your return in the near future. We certainly look forward to welcome you back to your home in Bohol! Sincerely, Allan A. Santos General Manager

We booked a hotel with a good discount through an online platform, but made a mistake on the date: we indicated the check-in date a day earlier. I started writing to the hotel’s email, since changes to the reservation were not allowed, to warn about a later check-in and ask for a transfer. But there was no answer for several days. Then he started calling, the numbers did not answer. On one of the sites I found another phone number and explained the situation, they told me not to worry. Upon arrival (and we arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule), no one was standing with a sign. And here we were already completely worried, pictures of the lack of any assistance and coordination in the Philippines began to appear before our eyes, after all, for the first time in the country. The driver arrived, we met and I must say that this was our last concern, all other issues at the hotel were resolved instantly. Check-in went very quickly; they brought our luggage to our room, which turned out to be on the second floor of one of the buildings. The room is spacious, very clean. The beds are comfortable (there was one more single bed in addition to the double). Shower cabin, toilet, wardrobe, kettle, water cooler on the ground floor, a very conveniently hung air conditioner (so that it does not blow on the bed) - everything you need. The beach is excellent, very clean, there are almost no people, in general there were few people in the hotel, it was “off season”, despite the ideal weather (rare rains and calm seas). Inexpensive restaurant, cheap massage (although I didn't really like it compared to other subsequent experiences in the country), good pool. Excellent organization of the trip to Bohol (everything quickly and clearly according to plan), they also provided a very good and inexpensive driver for a trip to the river where fireflies are found. The check-out also went like clockwork. In general, everyone in the hotel greets you and unobtrusively tries to please. As for the sea here, snorkeling is excellent at high tide; you don’t need to go anywhere. But there were also disadvantages. 1. A small selection of sea excursions (in fact, only one was offered - to a sand spit) 2. Philippine cuisine is poorly represented on the menu, and mainly dishes “for two”. At the same time, their execution was inferior to ordinary European dishes. We had to go to the hotel next door for dinner. 3. A small gym, there was nothing except dumbbells, a bicycle and a treadmill, but since there were no people in it either, it was possible to exercise.
The hotel is definitely worth the money.

I booked a Deluxe Green Room for around 500,000 won, though I'm not sure if this was during a peak pricing period. While the bed was spacious, the accommodation showed signs of age, and there were a few ants scattered in various places.
It's good that they use water purifiers for environmental reasons, but I felt uneasy about using the water jar and cups provided in the room. If they're going to operate this way, it would be nice if they also provided natural loofah sponges and detergent.
I booked this place for snorkeling purposes because I heard the sea in front was beautiful, but there wasn't much to see.
After check-out, I used the shower room, which was in extremely poor condition. I was surprised to find that shower amenities were not provided, and there was no hot water. I don't want to use it again.
There were many flies in the restaurant, but lighting candles helped. Overall, the food was delicious.
The staff were all generally friendly, which was nice.

This hotel is wonderfully placed in a large garden with a beach dotted with coconut trees and very well maintained. The decoration is not the latest fashion but is not unpleasant. Breakfast is oriented Asian clientele, so a little restricted for a European lover of bread and pastries.

Beautiful well-kept area, many palm trees, picturesque white sand beach and emerald sea. You can snorkel by the buoys and watch the fish. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, equipped with everything you need. Water can be collected from the cooler located on the ground floor of the building. Breakfasts are delicious, varied. I enjoyed the hotel accommodation, no comments on the service staff, all very friendly.

The Bohol Beach club is a very comfortable and peaceful garden resort on Panglao island with a stunning beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the restaurant serves really tasty food at reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing though given the quality of the a la carte dining.
We also booked a day's diving and snorkelling through the resort dive shop, which was very reasonably priced and a fabulous day out. We had the boat to ourselves and the dive spots were excellent, with clear water and sea turtles.
The resort is close to the airport and the ferry from Oslob which we took.

We have been 4 nights in the resort We have great time The beach is amazing The rooms are clean and big The crew was very helpful and nice. The location is good You are not in the centre of Alona beach and it is clean and peaceful and you are close enough to take a tricycle for 5 minutes and to get to Alona beach. The restaurant is very nice and not expensive and the food is good. We have a very good time as a family.

What a lovely place! The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet and the restaurant is great too - all our meals were delicious, reasonably priced and the service was spot on.
The beach is stunning - white sand, palm trees and crystal clear blue water - what's not to love! There are plenty of beach lounges and chairs and plenty of shade too. The pool is huge and inviting, with bar service!
The only downside (if you can call it that) is the distance from the road and into town. Tuk tuks are not permitted into the compound without prior approval, and the hotel bus is quite expensive. If you want to spend your entire time within the resort, that's easily done, and very enjoyable.
We loved it so much, we will be back.

A classic seaside establishment, it offers everything we needed during the short stay.
The rooms are clean and offer enough space. However, pay attention to the shower area shared with the toilets, access to which may be restricted due to the floor wet from the shower.
The breakfast buffet is generous and offers a multitude of local or international choices.
The pool area is small but not necessarily crowded. It can be pleasant to swim there (and easier than in the sea to swim).
The resort offers a large beach along which it is pleasant to walk. As the sea is not deep, you can easily move away from the edge while still having the water up to your knees.
Finally, the restaurant offers a wide variety of local or international dishes of good taste quality.
The staff is also very kind and pleasant.

Yes, snorkeling is quite good right infront of the resort as there is a protected area specifically for swimming, snorkeling and diving that is properly marked with bouys. There is also a 30 meter drop of with a stunning wall, in case you are interested in such. Should you want to make special arrangements for your snorkeling requirements, please let us know.
There are more places to choose from in the Panglao Island area.
