Had a lovely weekend here. The food is excellent and service is awesome. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit basic but adequate as we spent all day out riding around the area on motorbikes. Plenty of parking spaces and beer and spirits are good prices too .

Took my parents here for a birthday meal today. The staff were attentive and polite. The lunch menu was small, but looking at the prices on the main menu, we stuck with the lunch time menu. We had the soup, which was ok, not worth the price paid. The main coarses, haddock for us and chicken for my dad were...

Visited today during Sunday lunchtime. Easy to book, did it via Facebook. A lovely welcome and very friendly staff. Sunday lunch was available as well as a selection of other dishes. Food was cooked fresh and the potions were very generous. Child's meal was lovely, freshly cooked cod fillets in homemade batter. Meals around £10, think they do meal deals...

A warm welcome and friendly staff helped to make this a lovely place to eat. The food was very nice, hot and plentiful. All members of the group enjoyed their meal and would certainly recommend the Sunday lunch. My only negatives were the lack of disabled parking close to entrance and the closeness of the tables, meaning that some of...

Booked in for one night for the BMW off road skills course; after a wet, cold and tiring day the lovely food, excellent Welsh cider, hot shower and more importantly the comfy, quiet bedroom were an absolute god send. Well worth the money.

Went out for a friends birthday treat, visited the monkey sanctuary and looked for a place to eat on the way home. We all had a mixed grill, fantastic service, and a fabulous meal. We will be coming again.

Extremely disappointing! Having dined here on numerous occasions previously we returned to find different management had taken over. The menu is restrictive and doesn't give as much choice as other restaurants. There are signs that it is struggling financially, as the warm welcoming feel that once existed has now gone. Radiators are turned down so you certainly need to take...

Myself and my wife dined here last night and had a fab time with lovely food , and brilliant service from the head waiter and his staff. They were very attentive and informative offering us a good selection of menu and specials. Try the pork tenderloins, lots of great taste and flavours, well done all, and we will definitely be...

Good choice of food with something for every taste. Service was friendly, prompt and made me feel at home. Sunday Lunch was very tasty with a warm plate and hot food. Looking forward to our return soon. Plenty of parking spaces and the outside looked inviting for summer.
