We've just spent 2 nights at Abbey Farm B&B, its a beautiful old house, full of character, in an amazing spot, overlooking a small lake. Our room was so comfortable, and very large, as was the bathroom. But what made this place special was the owner and her son, they made us feel so welcome. Abbey Farm is a great place to stay.
Badly treated, iv been left to starve I can't wait till I'm back at home. I think that £180 for 3 nights is not worth it. They could have offered a sandwich or summat But iv been so hungry But jen didn't think of that.
Beautiful location and very friendly and warm welcome. It's in an old house on the site of an older abbey; facilities are not modern but clean and comfortable. The shower could have been more powerful but that is the only minor drawback. Lovely comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Great value for money.
We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay here. The innkeepers showed great hospitality and we could not have been more pleased with this part of our vacation. We combined London for a few days with our stay here and felt that we had seen the best of both worlds.
We stayed here recently and had a wedding to attend a short while away. When booking we spoke to Jenny the owner and she said if we arrive earlier she would give us the key for our return. When we arrived on the day of staying, Jenny welcomed us into the B and B and showed us to our bedroom. She asked if we wanted milk leaving for the morning and asked us what we would like for breakfast. Jenny was very accommodating. The grounds were stunning, the bedrooms were large and filled with Vintage Furniture and the beds were so comfy and it was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay here! We will definitely be back in the future! Jenny even accommodated us changing our minds at the last minute what we would like for breakfast and ordered us a taxi back to our car the next morning! 5 star service!…
Abbey Farm was a wonderful place to stay. We found a very warm welcome, extremely comfortable bed, huge bedroom and bathroom, plus a great breakfast. We would not hesitate to return here. Highly recommended.
Wonderful setting, great house, hosts were excellent as was the breakfast. The garden is wonderful complete with it's own ruined abbey. Local pub just down the road in Atherstone did excellent food & adjacent to a lovely canal walk.
Friendly staff, good breakfast and lovely room. Next to Lanercost Abbey and close to Hadrian's Wall. If this B&B is on your route, I can highly recommend it. We stayed there on our way to Scotland. . Rural farm atmosphere and good price.
Stayed here before. Most beautiful setting. Enormous room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Friendly hosts. Couldn't ask for more. Perfect location for visiting our son and his partner on their canal boat on the Coventry Canal.
Abbey farm is a must to stay,we have never stayed in such comfort, our room was three times larger than any hotel or any other place we have stayed, the bed was the most comfortable super king bed you could wish for,the bathroom is bigger than most rooms,it is quaint ,clean, historic with beautiful views, and its own lake, the breakfast was fresh locally sourced and delicious. The location is very peaceful and we slept so very well. Our host ,the wonderful Jenny, was an absolute angel, happy friendly and i must say we had a tricky situation where we forgot to bring some essential articles specific to our visit,we asked her help, and lo and behold she solved our problem with the necessary articles and would not take any money ,she really did come to our rescue in a big way ,we will be eternally grateful, to our special angel Jenny,…
