Period farmhouse. Huge bedroom, huge ensuite and huge comfortable bed. Decor and facilities somewhat ageing but everything worked fine, breakfast was good and mine host, his wife, children and dogs all very friendly.

This is a real gem for a night away. We had a lovely warm welcome and were made to feel at home. The room is delightful as is the breakfast. The owners made our stay a wonderful one and we can't wait to come back!

A well appointed B&B with very large rooms and a superb view of pond, fields and wildlife. Room was warm and cosy complete with free wifi. Jenny supplied a wonderful breakfast in the dining room - we will stay here again when in the area.

Fantastic over night stay, in a real historic farmhouse located in the grounds of the 1145 abbey ruins. Will and Jenny are such great hosts and treated us like family. A lovely B&B set in pretty surroundings with a large pond/lake outside. Our bedroom was at the back, so lovely and quiet. The bed was nice and comfortable. Not too far from Atherton town centre, about 5 minutes drive. This is a very old farmhouse, so a bit dated and needed up grading, but it was charming. Lovely tasty breakfast... More

We stayed here for 1 night after being at a wedding at nearby Mythe Barn. It is a grade 2 listed building with a fantastic view up the hill opposite to a gothic mansion. Very peaceful location not far from the M42. Our superior double room was enormous and with a big en-suite. Decoration is farmhouse style and the hosts... More

second time booking a family room in this fantastic B&B. A huge family room with it's own stairs and separate shower and toilet. The kids loved the grounds and the trampoline, we loved having a glass of wine by the lake watching the kids run their energy off before crashing out. Lovely hosts, gorgeous breakfast and great value. Just fantastic.... More
