The P of W is a traditional pub with rooms. Conveniently located only 10 minutes from Bath city centre it has a bus stop immediately outside served by 4 different bus routes so you rarely have to wait more than 15 minutes. It means you are spared the stress of parking in the city. An alternative is the park and...

Room was immaculate and very clean, warm, quiet with a good and powerful shower the full breakfast was great. The owners Gary and Kingsley were friendly and helpful and gave us good advice. There's a bus stop close by with 4 different buses into the city centre every 20 mins the bus stop opposite is tricky and about 2 miles on...

We read the reviews of this pub but decided to go anyway for a birthday lunch. There is a large car park and the pub is traditional and very warm. There was a usual range of chicken, turkey, pork and beef roast dinner and between the 5 of us, we covered the whole range! The food came quickly and was...

We booked all five rooms for two nights for a family event being held locally. From the meal provided for 30 people to our comfortable rooms, we were very satisfied. Easy to get into Bath, we used the Park and Ride just a short drive away, but a bus is available close by. Be warned breakfast is large! Thank you...

My wife and I stayed at the Prince of Wales for a week in early December. We arrived very late on our first night after a rough day of road and air travel. Gary and Kingsley kept the kitchen open for us after hours and fed us before we went to bed. Very accommodating. This was a great location for...

Arrival at the Prince of Wales, Dunkerton Hill was greeted by an unwelcoming Landlord who clearly regarded our arrival as an inconvenience, despite having pre-booked. The premises is sound, clean and adequate for a fee of some £25 less than charged. An uncompromising approach to our request for a cereal only breakfast was most unwelcome as was a return on...

We found the room was excellent, very clean, comfortable bed and what we liked the tea, coffee and biscuits were replenished every day. The food was absolutely wonderful (So much of it and extremely well presented and tasty). We really liked the atmosphere of the pub, very...

My husband and I stayed for one night for Bath Xmas fayre. Room was spotlessly clean, bed comfy and attractively done and plenty of tea and coffee. Bus stops right outside for a 10min ride into Bath. We returned at teatime and ate in the restaurant having 3 courses each which were lovely, plus drinks for around £45. I had...
