Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent had just been refurbished, excellent view of the Bay. The restaurant was not available due to being refurbished, so we had to eat at the sister hotel which was excellent. The bar was very noisy, seems very popular with the locals, not ideal for a quiet drink. needs a lounge...

Very nice hotel albeit undergoing renovation work this did not interfere with our short stay. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the sea we had ro m go to the sister hotel two doors up for breakfast and evening meal but as it is so close really not a problem. There was a 45 minute walk...

We stayed here recently and had two rooms to attend a wedding nearby. Both rooms were immaculate! The service we received was outstanding. Our camper van broke down and the manager and handyman couldn't do enough to help us get back on the road. Great value for money and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend to anyone staying in...

The good was the fact that the breakfast next door at the Gannet was absolutely SUPERB !!!!!!!!!!!!!! We knew they were doing our place up but it did give us a shock how poor the shower room was and was just tiny and cold ( that was the bad ). The ugly was that the place is a building site...

Me and my boyfriend booked the hotel just for a night away. Firstly we couldn't find the anywhere to park ( turns out the car park was just opposite the hotel, just badly sign posted. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at reception who then explained they wouldn't be serving any food as the were decorating, we were...

We arrived quite late to this hotel, but this was no problem for the staff, upgraded to a premium room free of charge, had a laugh with the receptionist who was lovely. Room was a good size and very clean. Great location too with the breakfast in the morning in the place next door. Would recommend.

We called in for a drink on our way back from St.Ives. Staff complaining about no change for customers. Two dogs in the bar barking regularly, not being asked to keep quiet. Not a pleasant experience. This venue has definitely gone down hill since being bought by The Carbis Bay Hotel.

We stopped here for 1 night on my birthday trip to the Cornwall region. The hotel is a bit shabby and needs some diy and re decor. The location is good and the breakfast is sufficient. Nothing outstanding but a good option if on a budget
