The Restaurant offers delicious and healthy meals, not from the Frituur but real food. Although the menu is not long, I would count the restaurant at Hof aan Zee aß one of the best I know in the Netherlands. The cottages are comfortable and the Service is really friendly.

First time at the Hof aan Zee and what a super week! This is a wonderful holiday destination for couples & families looking for not much to do except relax and enjoy the surroundings of the superb beach with lovely beach pavilions (nice food & drinks, also cosy if the weather is not so good). Can also recommend to rent bicycles (Rijwielhandel S. Kluijfhout, ca. 500m from the Hof) and explore nearby Middelburg, quaint Koudekerke (MUST try the cream cakes from Bakkerij Koppejan) or further afield to Veere. In summary, either stay around the Hof and enjoy the cafe/restaurant (great food and friendly staff) or walk a few minutes through the lovely dunes to the clean and never ending beach or get out and about (bike/car) to the picturesque local towns & villages.
