After a long drive it is always so nice to arrive in a small village where the inn provides all you've wished for. Friendly owners, a nice room with a good bed and bathroom, and, so important, a very good cook. Try the menus at 33E, and do not forget the succulent Coquilles and the homemade tarte aux pommes. Also homemade are the jams, which come with the really overwhelming breakfast! (REAL ORANGE JUICE) I do not care much for the art on the walls, but this is personal. More

Friends recommended this hotel. The setting and grounds are lovely. The room was large with the usual very poor lighting, which is why we pack reading lights. Unfortunately, the temperature of the water in the shower fluctuates wildly hot/cold/hot which inspires the shortest possible shower.
The tub with shower would likely be uncomfortable for larger and taller people: we are both short and small. There are no extra electrical outlets: we unplugged the TV and one of the lights so we could charge computer, iPad, camera, GPS.
The meals (dinner and breakfast) were among the best we had, wonderful presentation and great food, although overcooked vegetables at one dinner.
