I have eaten her for Sunday lunch with my children and also for evening dinner a few times. We have been here over the past 10 years it was good then dropped off but the new people are brilliant. The food is interesting and good quality and the serving staff very pleasant. Best to book though. They have The Bull...

A most attractive and pleasant ambiance, tempting menu with all manner of treats on it; most pleasant, helpful and attentive staff. The free, fresh-baked still-hot bread when we first arrived was a delicious surprise but almost a meal in itself! The main bar, adjacent to the restaurant, seemed busy and popular with local people; the pretty outside areas were appealing...

We stayed at the Plough as part of our walk along the Thames Path. So we were looking for a comfortable stay with some good food after a long day's walk. The Plough exceeded all our expectations. The room was very comfortable and with what looked like a recently redesigned ensuite, we were able to have a lovely shower at...

We hadn't been to The Plough for several months and this time surpassed all others - a great menu good wine list - superb ambiance both inside & out the pub. Our daughter had the asparagus our son the pigs in blankets and my wife the mushrooms with brioche - all eagerly eaten up and not a morsel left. The...

Haven't been to the Plough for years and glad to see it has retained the charm and character. Very friendly bar manager was great to talk to. Had an absolutely delicious cottage pie with peas for lunch. The cottage pie was made with care with attention to detail and the peas were deliciously minty and buttery.

This is my favourite Cotswold pub. Its retained its village, local atmosphere while serving delicious food. I ate the night before at their sister pub and it was superb but has become more of a gastro pub and lacked the village quaintness. Plough is full of charm and character. Our food was delicious.

We spent a night here after a day at the races and loved every minute. The room was on the small side but beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The highlight was definitely the dinner in the restaurant. Very attractive pub dining room, again beautifully decorated, and very cosy with great service. Delicious treacle and beer bread...

We stayed in the Plough this weekend. The manager was very efficient and helpful and made you feel at home in this great village pub. We'd been here for lunch in the past and had a great experience and chose to stay whilst visiting family. I love the ambiance of the pub - the food is exceptional and the location...

Stylish and beautifully located country pub with charming service, delicious food, reasonable pricing, a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and superb decor. And, on top of all that they welcome dogs everywhere. We couldn't have asked for more and have already booked a return visit.

We stayed in the Plough this weekend and I can't tell you how perfect our stay was. The manager (I think Paul was his name) did everything to ensure we had a perfect stay. We had dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night and there was a great atmosphere, some locals and some guests staying. The lovely waiters were great,...
