Horrible place if you have a Motorhome or camper van. Apart from a Reception which always has it's door locked there is nothing. No shop within 1 1/2 miles ditto pub and I know as we walked it. A lousy bus service 3 times a day Mon - Fri and still 3/4 mile walk on a fast busy Rd. with no pavement. Our superior pitch was a joke, uneven concrete and brambles growing everywhere. The only half decent thing about this place was the toilet block. By Friday evening the tarmac leading to our pitch had cars, vans parked next to the caravans and there where children just laying bikes in the road and leaving them We would never visit this place again 5 ***** is a joke and £40 per night a rip off

Had booked into camp at the park only to find out on arrival that they don’t allow tents anymore however they let us camp which was very kind! Pitch was flat, site was quiet and respectable. Shower and toilets spotless. Everyone friendly. Lovely break away! Just a stones throw from Heatherton and wildlife park. They were even so kind as to store cold items in the fridge which was a god send in the hot weather

The Park itself is great, clean , tidy and the dog walk area fantastic and the pitches very good. The only problem we encountered was on the Saturday night of our stay the permanently pitched touring caravan residents of Pitch No. 93 partyed all night long until at least 1.30am! We were on Pitch 94 - so quite noisy and no sleep as they had relatives and friends also staying in permanently pitched touring vans. The said residents of Pitch 93 had been busy complaining during the day about the Parks' intention to move the permanent touring vans to another part of the site as the Park is investing in more static vans. On Sunday after no sleep saturday night we at least thought Pitch 93 might have come round and said sorry for the noise they created - no not a chance! So when we returned home I emailed the Park to point out that although we liked the Park we were amazed there was no curfew on noise. A short email back from "Deano" said how pleased they were we liked the site and that they would be emailing about the noise (presumably to Pitch No 93)! Deano said there was a curfew - I emailed back asking what time the curfew was and pointed out that even an apology from the Park for our disturbed night would be good customer relations - still waiting for a reply! So if you stay on the touring pitches just be aware that there is no curfew on noise on Saturday nights and I don't think the Park really cares about happy customers either. We won't be going back !

We arrived at Trefalun on a Sunday. When we arrived there was no allocated parking to use while we checked into we just parked on the road outside the reception area. The warden was already outside talking to a fellow caravaner so I approached her to find out where to check in. She was not welcoming at all, told me to enter by the reception door which I did. Not once did she smile, introduce herself or even say have a great time etc. During our stay I walked past staff on the site a few times and smiled and I got no response at all. We had reserved a super pitch and it was very nice. There was some rubbish on the grass from a previous camper but apart from that the location was amazing. The site was quiet, the toilet block was clean and the showers were nice and hot so no issues with any of that. The dog walk was great too and the field was clean so no dog poo lying around. There was no shop to pick up essentials which was a shame. I can only say there was a definite atmosphere at the place. The wardens did not seem the least interested in tourers. Just a very unfriendly place and we won’t go back.
