I stayed at Kaimana Inn over New Years for a week. Marcelo and his family are by far the most accommodating hosts I have ever encountered. At the end of your stay you will feel like you’re saying good bye to friends. Marcelo can arrange any outings you require, from horseback riding to a car rental. He’s in the know...

Once i decided to travel to Easter Island i was unsure on which hotel to stay after doing a little reasearch and reading all the excellent reviews i chose Kaimana Hotel Inn. The location is perfect it's just half a block away from the main street in Hanga Roa and 2blocks from a small nearby beach. Just remember this is...

My husband and I spent the first half of our honeymoon at Kaimana Inn, Easter Island in January 2011. We were first impressed with the owner. We had scheduled for airport transfer, but our flight from Lima Peru had been delayed and we had no way of contacting him... yet there he was waiting for us at the airport. He...

Loved the hotel, loved the service, loved the island. The hotel is just half a block away from the main street and 3 blocks away from the beach, the Tapati Festival, everything. Marcelo ys a great host!!! He even planned my surprise wedding!! We had lots of fun with him at the Tapati, loved his dogs and his family. They...

From first inquiry on the internet to the plane home, this was a first-rate experience. Marcelo, the Inn's host is the epitome of a gracious and hospitable islander. He and his family run the Inn as well as the restaurant next door and both are top notch. Marcello also gives a GREAT tour of the island and is always available...

This hidden gem of a hotel is a great place to stay in Easter Island. The price is incredibly fair considering how expensive some hotels can be on the Island. The best thing about the hotel was Marcelo and his hospitality by far! From the minute we decided to stay at the hotel, he emailed us back promptly and politely...

There are so many reasons to go to Rapa Nui, and Kaimana is one of them. Briefly, some of the standard extras they give; 1. Free pick up and drop off at airport 2. Free trip around town to get you your bearings 3. A welcome and departure gift 4. Free advice on the island and things to do with...

This was the most enjoyable hostel/hotel experience I've ever had while traveling. Yes, the rooster was loud and could wake you up, but I saw roosters all over the island and am quite certain they would wake you wherever you stay. The rooms were nice and I loved the layout with the rooms to the sides and the courtyard in...

Kaimana Inn was a really friendly, comfortable place to stay right in the center of town. They have six spacious, very clean rooms around a large, comfortable open-air lounging area. They serve a good breakfast - eggs fruit, biscuits, coffee or tea - there every morning around 9-10 and it is very easy to walk to the harbor, mini markets,...

Marcelo and his inn are the greatest. I don´t know what else to say. The place is lovely, 2 minute walk from town, and Marcelo is knowledgable, helpful (who else would help push a stalled car with a baby in his arms!) and fun. The setup of the inn facilitates getting to know the others staying there and it is...
