Enjoyed the personal attention and flexibility offered by Paul. Very interesting background involved personally with the archeology here. The facility was comfortable, room was large, and it is convenient to the museum and local moai. We did a full day tour and rented a jeep to go back to other highlighted spots. We walked several times into town, going the...

This is a fantastic place to stay during your time on Easter Island run by Paul, a man whose life has been much more interesting so far than most. Paul makes sure you have all of the information you need before you even step foot onto the island, and was always on hand to assist in any question/concern we had....

This by far has been my best vacation of my life. The owner Paul, is fantastic, knowledgeable and very articulate. The hotel is more like a comfortable bed and breakfast, I believe he has 6 beautiful rooms. Close to the small village and airport. If you do not utilize jis services as a tour guide, you certainly are missing out...

I just spent 4 days, 3 nights at Tekarena. It truly felt like home away from home. The rooms are very simple Easter Island style but meet all of ones needs. They were spotless clean and Paul and team are very accommodating. I did a 1 day tour with Paul and must say that my stay on Easter Island wouldn't...

Paul’s place was a perfect place to enjoy Easter Island. The location is ideal for sunset views. Tekarera Inn offered a good breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee was always available. The inn had a nice garden. My room was a big room great shower, fluffy towels, comfy bed and walk in wardrobe, fridge, hairdryer, shampoo and soap, cable Tv. The wifi was poor...

We stayed there for 3 nights last week and had a great time. From the time we got picked up by Luis from the airport upon arrival, to the time he dropped us back, this was by far one of the best places I have ever stayed at anywhere in the World. Luis was awesome pointing out various places to...

Paul was very helpful with recommendations and arranging activities on Easter Island, the horseback riding was an excellent experience. As a host he struck the right balance of making sure everything is okay and leaving you to enjoy the scenery. Breakfast overlooking the ocean was a great start to the day! I wasn't sure what to expect from Easter Island...

We had a great stay at Tekarera in June with the best tour guide on the island. At first the accom looks a bit ramshackle but it has its own charm and great views on the deck. It was spacious and peaceful and had a lot of homely charm. The main selling point has to be our host Paul. He...

First to eliminate all wrong choices - if you are in a search for numerous hotel's stars, marble floors or swimming pools - this is not the place for you. On the other hand, if you care to stay in the place both remote from the town's noice and very close to the sea shores and Moai's - Tekarera may...

We loved staying here- it was the highlight of our 3 week vacation in South America. Paul is a kind, intelligent man, who made us feel like family. He has led a fascinating life, and is very knowledgeable of the Island's history. Our room was spacious (2 queen beds!) and clean. The bathroom was also very clean. We didn't see...
