My daughter and I spent a few nights here, and the hotel has much to recommend it; the rooms are in individual buildings in a flowerfilled garden, and the hotel itself looks out at the ocean past a solitary Moa in the distance. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was expensive and some of its offerings (like the pizza)...

our 4th visit at Easter Island and ... our 4th sejour at Altiplanico and certainly not the last... Always the view with the sea and the moai... always the warm welcome always the room with the shower under the sky... The garden was in perfection this year, the breakfast a must(maracuya pie, lemon pie...). Correct restaurant but no special buffet...

We had been booked at the Explora but due to the fire were rehoused at the Altiplanico and were not disappointed. We felt the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, there was a good and varied choice at breakfast and it was beautifully presented. Dinner watching the sunset over the ocean...

Located 2500 miles west of Chile, this Rapa Nui hotel is a welcome retreat after a long day of touring. Individual cottages with platform beds and outdoor showers are arranged in clusters, many having a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The staff is warm and welcoming, the breakfast spread abundant and the dinners absolutely delicious.

Easter Island is a place that is still very authentic if compared with other holiday places. Thus prices are expensive for the service you get everywhere This hotel is pretty. Each room is a bungalow with a nice big shower, a futon bed and a nice lobby where they serve breakfast dinnerand lunch. Wifi is poor like every where else...

This was an ideal place to stay. After am 8 hour delay in Santiago, Chile, we finally arrived late and tired. The hotel staff had drinks waiting for us and escorted us to our cabanas. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the shower was amazing. We had two rooms as we are a family of 4. The hotel...

We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff were very friendly. Rooms are individual bungalows and we have no complaints about the standard. Although a way out of town, that was made up for by having a great view and stunning sunsets. We found the 30 minute walk into town along the coast very relaxing. We ate...

If this was an economical 2 stars hotel, would rate it with 4*, but it is an expensive theoretically 4 stars. The restaurant is very good (but expensive, 20 dollars all starters, 30 dollars all main dishes) and evening waiters efficient and polite. Breakfast was average but staff very show refilling the chesse, ham, bread or fruit plates and the...

This was the perfect hotel for me. It was secluded enough yet close enough to everything, after all it's Easter Island. I first had reservations about the location but it's great. It's walking distance from the moais by the coast starting with Ahu Tahai, and you can just make your way along the coast to town. For me walking is...
