My husband, daughter and I spent 2 nights on Easter Island, at Taha Tai. It was a great spot for our visit. We were in the main building in a triple room - and wow, the air conditioning was wonderful! Hotel is a short walk or drive to the main street, and we enjoyed driving around exploring the island (we...

We stayed at the Taha Tai hotel during our recent stay visiting Easter Island. The staff was very professional, the hotel well situated seaside so that you can walk around Hanga Roa. The breakfast buffet allowed us to get our day off to a good start. After 2 plus days of flying and layovers from Vancouver, when my head hit...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at Taha Tai. Air conditioning really helps; we slept 9 hours every night after busy days exploring. Very clean, good breakfasts, but it was the excellent service that impressed us the most, from the front desk to the immediate response to any problems. The pool is small but refreshing and makes a great place...

This very nice hotel is air conditioned and located just a short walk, 10 minutes, from the Main Street in one direction, and the coast and restaurants in the other. They had a great breakfast buffet and offered lunch and dinner as well though we ate out each evening. Staff were very helpful and most spoke English as well as...

After an exhaustive, and exhausting search we opted to stay at the Taha Tai Hotel. If we returned to Easter Island we'd stay there again. As several travellers have commented it is a basic hotel, very basic and grossly overpriced for what you get. There isn't even a bar of soap! But it is spotless, the air conditioning is excellent,...

TAHaTai Tribute We stayed in one of the above hotel's bungalows rather than in the main building. Our accommodation was spacious and provided every facility we could have wanted. Unlike many hotels, where a room key is need to activate the power and air conditioning, the latter was operational when we arrived and provided comfortable conditions throughout our three night...

We stayed during the Tapatai festival. The town was packed and all hotels sold out. We were allocated this hotel as a second choice but after seeing what we thought was a better hotel we realised we had been lucky. Only a short walk to the town, the hotel has a brilliant location directly fronting the sea. Don't expect luxury...

Easter Island offers a taste of Hawaii but is quite rustic and not well maintained. So it is with this hotel. It offers lodging-style rooms that are clean and bright and a very small bathroom with very poor lighting. Very disappointing for couples. In our case, service was not up to standards which I usually never complain about. It's restaurant...

We stayed here for a week while on our honeymoon and it was very nice. The location is a few minutes from 'downtown', the staff were attentive and friendly and the daily breakfast buffet was very good; eggs, sausage, breads, coffee, cold cuts, fresh fruits and yogurt, cereal etc. Rooms were made daily and the entire hotel and grounds are...

This hotel i situated 1 km from the village on a peninsula surrounded by the vie of the Pacific Ocean. Better locality can not be found. The owner since several generations and the related staff are very friendly. The price is fair. Don´t come here if you want luxury, but come if you want natural scenery, near to walking path and...
