Pikera Uri surpassed my expectations. Read a ton of reviews of hotels on the island before my trip and picked Pikera Uri due to comments about the hospitality of the staff. Those were spot on, and I was also pleasantly surprised by the rooms (clean, comfy bed, bathroom with updated fixtures), the breakfast (filling and fresh), and the setting (nice...

Took a half day tour to the caves north of town and ahu akivi with Pantu. We enjoyed the ride and beautiful scenery. Our only issue was that we do not speak Spanish (or Rapa nui) and Pantu’s English is very limited. So we got no explanation about the sites that we visited, or about how to control the horses...

Thanks for making this comment, we will try to improve the service with respect to languages. We are glad that the horseback riding was a good experience anyway. Very best regards!

It was just a bad experience with a primitiv service.I think they don't understand a lot about service and we was unlucky to choose this hotel. Not to recommend! We was there during the Tapati Rapa Nui Festival.

Excellent horses , great tours. I went on both the Crater and Teraveka tours for 1/2 day each. Horses are energetic, tack is comfortable and in good shape. They provided me with helmet and 1/2 chaps.First horse I had was definitely for a beginner and followed the leader pretty closely. It was a fun ride but a lot of work...

The hotel is a great place, in a nice location, away from downtown but close enough to walk. Anita was a big help, contacting the airlines for us to track down misplaced luggage and assisting us with island questions. We stayed in a room on the far left with a great view of the ocean.

What a wonderful, warm and friendly place to stay. My cabin was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The grounds are lush with greenery. It is not very big which makes you feel like you are staying in a home rather than a hotel. There is a great room where you have breakfast and you are welcome to use...

I didn't stay at the Cabañas but I did sign up for a half-day horse trek to the highest point on the island Maunga Terevaka. Obviously the scenery during the trek and the views from the top were amazing but that is the only positive thing I have to say about the experience. I am no horsewoman but I know...

What's an amazing place to stay in Easter island. This hotel Pikera Uri is owned by local Rapa nui people and hence contains lots of local ambience that will make you feel like home rather than at hotel. Great points include stunning location with the deep blue pacific water view and close to central town, highly friendly staff who proactively...

everything about this place is wonderful - from the amazing owners, the rooms and the location. Its the perfect location - sea views, beautiful sunsets and Moai within walking distance. You can rent a car directly from the hotel and it is the best way to explore the island. The breakfast is lovely, as is the horse riding tour offered...
