First impression was the place looked great. Taken up to my room on arrival. The lock on the door was not easy to use. The room was very clean. Busy decor but overall looked nice. Ate in the bar downstairs. The food was good value and tasty. Unfortunately my nights sleep wasn't very good. I could hear the speakers from...

Great service and food at this Inn beside the property of Longleat Estate. There are some great walk on the Estate and lots to see there as well. Staff are very friendly and it was a good experience all round. Had some good food as well. Recommended.

This place exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Peacock room although we only booked a club room. It was lovely, really comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Dinner was excellent in lovely bar area. We will definitely return later this year for longer as long as we are guaranteed the same room! The staff were lovely especially the young lady...

When we booked the pictures on the website belied the true condition of the rooms. We in fact, booked a Club Room, but got put into, we later discovered, a Superior Room called the "English Eccentric". It looked nothing like the picture on the website. So first point is misrepresentation, followed by bad lighting, no proper shower facility, no soap...

Very friendly staff, lovely open fire. We stayed in a room called 'Raja'. Nice accommodation as it was set in outbuildings, outside of the main hotel, this allowed easy access to the outside and car parking. The pub is dog friendly which is great for those wanting their pet with them. The evening food was great and offered both restaurant...

A one night stay in order to visit nearby Longleat. We stayed in the Peacock room, at £160 a night. The room was comfortable but extremely hot. After turning off the radiator we had to open the window, but unfortunately the room overlooks the outside smoking area.. we had a choice...overheat or listen to the laughter and loud talking plus...

I booked a nights' stay here in August 2016 for my partners' birthday, as I was planning a day at the Zoo the following day and it seemed to be in a good location and not too far from Longleat. The area of the hotel is lovely and quaint, in an idyllic village setting which was perfect for a quiet...

On first arriving I was not impressed with room.See picture below, this is the room that we was suppose to have and we was checked into a room outside in a converted barn. The concubine, I had seen a picture of room we was meant to have and this was a big disappointment. Very small a tiny wardrobe no draws to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bath Arms is a unique Country Pub, with accommodation and a restaurant, located on Lord Bath's magnificent Longleat Estate in the charming Wiltshire village of Horningsham. We aspire to offer quirky accommodation. The rooms are nothing if not original and a little unconventional. While simple and beautifully cooked, British locally sourced food is our culinary philosophy. Our beers come from local breweries, we rear our own pigs. If our vegetables are not grown on site, they are sourced within a 50 mile radius. ... more   less
