We like the Breadalbane because it is the perfect mix of wonderful local food beautifully prepared, well-paced service, and charming surroundings. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and we never feel rushed even on the busiest nights. The Friday night fish special is always lovely, and the ribeye steaks are worth every penny. My only wish might be for...

Recently stayed for 2 nights at this Inn in Fergus. The old building has retained its charm with the additions to the facility. The staff are friendly and helpful, even if you did have to hunt them down....remember we were there mid-week. The food was exceptional. One thing to note that by purchasing the package which includes a $75.00 meal...

The Breadalbane Inn is not a Homewood Suite or other fancy hotel with fancy micro modern rooms. It is a 200+ year old piece of history, and one of the reasons why we went there, and we will indeed go back. From the moment we walked in (early I might add), the staff was pleasant and helpful. We stayed in...

My boyfriend and I checked in late on the Friday night of our long weekend. We were greeted immediately by the loveliest girl named Madison. Smiling, helpful, happy and an all around asset to your enchanting inn. She escorted us to our room ' Victor Kyle'. While it was a clean and lovely room she wanted to wow us with...

While they took good care of us I'm left with a lack of enthusiasm. Here is the good and the bad....... First off management went to great lengths to make our weekend memorable. Mark (presumably the manager) helped settle us in and even bought me a beer for my birthday at the pub next door (A wonderful touch and I...

I was looking for a get away for my husband and I for our 5th anniversary and came across this incredible little in while searching Trip Advisor…..on impulse I booked it. We could not have been happier !! We started the day with a hike in nearby Elora, then a stroll around town , topped off with a cool glass...

We absolutely loved our stay here. The 1 night getaway midweek special was a great deal! The food, suite and staff all were amazing! I couldn't believe the inn only offers breakfast to inn guests only (they will turn the public away even if the place is empty!). It works out amazing on our end as i sat on a...

What can I say other than disinterested staff with painfully slow service. Half an hour to get a drink after sitting down in fly and wasp riddled conservatory.Tepid dried out food resembling something my daughter would bring back from a cooking class at kindergarten. Just awful. The chicken surprise was certainly a surprise. The staff at this restaurant had actually...

Stopped by for Lunch, the outside shaded patio was cool on a very hot day, the meal was great, the service was great though a little slow. The portions were very generous and I recommend if you are having an appetizer and the lasagna order a half order of the lasagna.
