We had lunch at this hotel on Saturday for a family birthday. The hotel has several dining areas and the food was all delicious. Our waiter was excellent - professional but friendly service. He basically ran the dining room by himself, from making the cocktails to making the coffees at the end. Overall a very enjoyably experience.

We recently stayed overnight at the Stirling Hotel in room 4. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was very quiet despite a function taking place on the nearby Deck. The furnishings were stylish and the room very large. We particularly loved the open gas fire. As this was a 50th birthday celebration, we had arranged for a dinner for... More

Had a function on the deck and was surprised with an overnight stay in one of the 5 rooms. Room 3 had the biggest bath I've ever seen and a cosy fireplace that I had a nap in front of (perfect for couples). The deck function room was perfect for my bridal shower highly recommend any function there for family or... Visited the Stirling Hotel Grill for the first time last weekend on a sunny winter's day, only a short drive up the freeway from the city. Whilst Sunday lunch is their busy day, the Saturday lunch service is a new offering from the Stirling. We went for the two course special for $55 and were not disappointed. The wine list... More

Called in for lunch on a sunny winters Saturday. The place was a hive of activity but managed to snare a table outside to soak up the winters sun and enjoy the ambience. There were outdoor heaters strategically placed around and a nice country feel. I ordered the Salt & Pepper Calamari, which was served well seasoned, crisp and golden... More

Lovely building and setting in Stirling especially in Autumn. Food is all good value although the venue is noisy. Very busy but enjoyable with good selection of wines at good prices and a wide selection of dishes.

We enjoyed room 4 (there are only 5 rooms), it's fireplace, balcony, steam bath and comfortable king size bed. The setting is phenomenal, restaurants and bars on our doorstep.staff were particularly accomodating, even sending out the minivan to rescue us from a long walk back when our mountain bike let us down. Setting is perfect, well and truly in the... More

The Patissarie is a fantastic place to grab yourself some grade A craft beer. The young blokes who work here have made the selection here truly world class. You'll not find a better selection of fresh, new beer at many other places within the Hills. Do yourself a favour and head in for a look.

The service was prompt and friendly. The menu had a good selection of expected offerings plus some tasty interesting salads. I had the quinoa salad and would recommend it for a healthy lunch. Generous portions, so could be shared between two people with smaller appetites.
