Was really disappointed with my visit. We ordered and waited over an hour for our food. After customers who came in after us had all been served before us, we mentioned this to waiter. They stated our food was 'coming.' After 10 more minutes we eventually gave up. When we told the waiting staff they smirked. We still had to...

We had a mix grill each. Amazing food. A good selection of meats. The restaurant area is lovely. The place seemed a bit understaffed. But the girl who served us was working really hard and she was of an exquisite kindness. I will go there again.

Stayed here for one night. Yes the room was a little quirky in design and a little shabby, but the shower was hot, the room spotlessly clean and the towels were fluffy. The bar had fresh flowers on the tables and a roaring fire. we ate in the restaurant and the meal was good and great value for money as...

Booked this hotel on booking.com. Maybe this is why we were allocated two rooms that were separate from the others. Rooms 12 & 16, number 16 was at the top of a very steep staircase. According to our booking the rooms were supposed to have a Trouser press, hairdryer & phone. We had none of these!!!!! My mother is 81 so...

We are all local and went for lunch today. Firstly there was no one in the bar to order a drink and certainly no one in sight to offer us a table. I eventually found someone sitting in an office to point us in the direction of the dining area. There were just 2 other diners in the room. Someone...

The same nice and friendly staff welcomed us and they remembered our faces was quite nice. We stayed in the same Room as last time and it was quite nice, and we got surprised because it was refurbished, even better! This time we didn't had any food at the restaurant but we hired a function for an after xmas meal...

The hotel has a prominent location in the heart of the town and must have been ‘back in the day’ a wonderful place to stay unfortunately today this is not the case and I would suggest that you avoid staying here. The reason for this is threefold; first the ‘hotel’ is need of some updating however simple changes would make...

I booked a while ago for our anniversary and asked for a nice room. It was freezing cold, cramped and dirty overlooking back yard and rubbish and bottle bank. Basic horrid smelly bathroom with no bath. Last breakfast served is 9am which is too early and bar staff couldn't speak English well and gave short measures. Complained about the freezing...
