My partner and I recently experienced a burst water pipe at home in Brackley, meaning we were without water for 3 days which meant a 3 night stay at our local hotel, The Crown. Now having read some of the management responses to people's reviews...More
I go here once a week whilst my son plays football. It's the only place open. It's friendly enough but the food is very average and served almost begrudgingly! I ask for tea and usually have to mime what I want....not many English speaking staff!
One night was enough, the Hotel is grubby, tired and the electrics defy logic.
Breakfast was laughable although after a local celebration we slept very well.
The floors in our room were sloping although we did not fall out of bed.
Just tired to avoid...More

Hello traveler. We only ate at the crown, and certainly did not pay any charges for WiFi. If you pay for WiFi when you stay as a paying guest overnight, I can not say. Sorry I cannot be of further help. Happy travelling. X
