My partner and myself just spent 3 nights here and what a lovely peaceful and quiet place to be. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, there was plenty of choice at breakfast and we had an excellent nights sleep. We did not have an evening meal while staying here as we were away all day and did not get...

We had one of the stables rooms which was certainly big enough for a horse too! The facilities were spotlessly clean which would be no mean feat in itself as many of the visitors including us were there to enjoy the great outdoors and stunning scenery. The staff were friendly and the food was exceptional. The location is handy for...

What a lovely welcome we got when we arrived after the first day's walk on the Cateran Trail. Showed immediately to our room and after a shower, it was downstairs for a few drinks and then a lovely meal. Breakfast was very filling and we left for our next day's walk well fed.

We were staying just outside Blairgowrie and were lucky enough to eat here twice. The food was fantastic (especially the haggis and creme brulee) and the service was impeccable. With a great pub atmosphere and friendly staff this is a great place to stop!

Four of us stayed at this hotel while on a walking holiday. We arrived early and the receptionist took in our bags so we could then drive to Glenshee to walk back to Kirkmichael. On returning we were shown to our huge rooms in the outbuilding area. Lovely rooms good showers comfy beds. After a few drinks we had a...

Stayed here for a night whilst walking the cateran trail. Great beer, good food and hospitality. Rooms are well presents, staff are friendly and welcoming. Good Scottish ales on tap and seems to be well attended by the locals.

We were staying in Kirkmichael for a few days and decided to have a spot of lunch at the handsome looking Strathardle Inn on the outskirts of the village. We received a warm welcome straight away from a member of staff and thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches and chips while watching the rain come down from the window. It's a lovely...

Very pleasant & friendly Inn. Great food and Ales. Staff very friendly. Local views are stunning with Glenshee Ski slopes just 18 miles away! Pitlochry 12 miles north & Blairgowrie 14 miles south that has a Championship golf course which hosted the Junior Rider Cup!

We stayed here while we hiked the Cateran Trail. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast each day was generous and cooked to order, and the evening meal in the pub was excellent. (Try the venison. Try the locally made mead, too.) Abby, the owner was a super host, and went out of her way to pick us up...

Wow, This is a well run place. Family owned and run. We were made to feel very welcome. Food superb. Home cooked and very tasty. Service in bar spot on. No better than that! Room bright and airy. Breakfast features local (Bridge of Cally) honey - my favourite. Don't pass it by.
