We had been aware of Siwash for years and finally got to go this year and it was worth the wait. Siwash really is a beautiful place with stunning scenery, 5-star service, absolutely amazing food and a warm and relaxed vibe. We stayed in Bear tent at Star Camp and it was just perfect - pure glamping with the most comfortable bed, separate bathroom, and a beautiful outdoor shower with a view over the lake. We had a warm, cosy stove for the few nights it was cold and hot water bottles left in our bed just in case. The hot tub was a perfect place to enjoy the canopy of stars each night. We stayed a week and tried out pretty much everything: fly fishing, shooting, archery and canoeing on the lake. All great fun with expert tuition and facilities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always fantastic - creative cuisine beautifully presented - not a place to start a diet! But the highlight was definitely the horses. It was a privilege to groom and ride out on our assigned horses every morning and we got to know our horses over the week. The many trails were beautiful and the horses so relaxed and fun to ride. Each night, the horses are set free to roam as a herd and come back together every morning – a beautiful sight. The Siwash staff are professional and so friendly, constantly working hard to make your stay the best it can be. The owners, Alyson and Marshall, are completely committed to ensuring their guests are well looked after, and the pride and passion they have for their home, business and the environment shines through in everything they and their staff do. Our visit was truly the best experience and one we hope to be able to do again someday.

Property's Favourite Review
So much has been said by other reviewers. We have traveled the world and Siwash is one of the most magical places. From the location, activities, amazing landscape and exceptional service, it's hard to beat. Allyson and her gang are the most remarkable team. No level of detail is left out from the food, accommodation and exceptional activities. Their story of survival and rebuild from one of the worst fires in BC history are for the books. Their resilience is an example for many to follow. Thanks for making it the best trip for my family....

My husband, myself and our daughter spent 4 nights at Siwash to celebrate her 30th Birthday in October. What a dream of a place it is and honestly, the real highlight of our 2 weeks in Canada. The setting is incredible, skies were blue and we were treated like family. Our highlight was horse riding every day- the most truly magnificent horses and rides enjoying wilderness and wildlife. We tried archery, went hiking, kayaking, my husband, fly fishing and even ended with a massage. The food was very special indeed-lunches outside every day in the sunshine, drinks by the roaring lodge fire and amazing dinners and wines. So many little details had been thought of throughout our stay and this, together with the kindness of the staff made our stay one we will always remember, thank you.

Where to begin! What an incredible experience we had at Siwash Lake Resort. The hospitality was unlike we've ever experienced before. All of the staff are incredibly professional, fun and inviting. The food.... the FOOD!! It was so delicious, prepared by excellent chefs using local farm to table ingredients, most of which they grew themselves. I love how committed they are to sustainability and preserving the land that they're on while enjoying it at the same time. The whole resort is run on solar panels leaving little to no environmental footprint. There was a wide variety of outdoor activities that made me feel like a kid at camp again! It was a blast to walk around learning and practicing archery, and in the same day, learning how to tack a horse followed by a long trail ride throughout the forests. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience at this resort. It was a wonderful way to get away and connect with family which we often forget to do. If you value sustainability and disconnecting from this chaotic world for a break in the natural wilderness, this resort is for you. Thank you, Siwash, for a wonderful weekend that we won't forget!

What an amazing experience. I recently spend the weekend here with my wife and her family and it was not long enough. The location is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The food could not have been better and the staff were so great and friendly making you feel right at home. With all the onsite activities like horseback riding, fishing, archery, shooting and more, it made for a jam packed weekend. I would love to go again and highly recommend staying at least 4 days to really be able to experience everything they have to offer.

Amazing. Just amazing. This is how we (Family of four - mum, dad and two girls, 13 and 15 years) all feel about Siwash after having spent 4 days in this wonderful place. During the entire stay we felt like specially invited guests in Alyson and Marshall’s lovely home. Everyone was so attentive to our wishes, needs and wellbeing. I really don’t know where to start but to mention a few things: Personal welcoming at our arrival, most delicious food and very attentive staff throughout our stay as well as exceptional and knowledgable guides. This part was particularly important as it gives you extraordinary experiences you wouldn’t find elsewhere. I had decided on going horseback riding with my daughter who is an experienced rider - and I am not. I was honestly a bit scared of going on this adventure but ended up loving it and going twice during our stay. The guides were both really calm and patient and were the only reason I actually got up on the horse and enjoyed it SO much. My husbond and youngest daughter had a great time learning fly fishing. Again the motivation and encouragement from the enthusiastic guide were crucial. I always enjoy a nice hike but do not know much about plants and wildlife. Therefore, going backcountry hiking with Marshall was awesone. He generously shares his knowledge of every part of this adding so much to the beautiful surroundings. Before going, none of us mentioned archery or shooting as areas of interest. Once at Siwash we signed up for these activities and ended up finding them extremely enjoyable and excellent activities for the entire Family. Again the guides were the reason this worked out so well for us. We stayed in the Lodge suites which we really enjoyed - really lovely rooms and nice to be in the main house. I have not mentioned the names of guides, chefs, waitresses, maids etc as each of them deserves the best recommendations and I would be afraid to forget any of them. We will forever keep a memory of a place where you are welcomed as a special guest in a down-to-earth manner, and where the guides will help you get out of your comfort zone in an extremely comfortable manner and give you small adventures for life. I coulis go on and on about the merits of Siwash but will stop now. Thank you Alyson and Marshall for sharing your wonderful home and enthusiasm with us.

This weekend I experienced Siwash wilderness resort and it was an incredible time to go. The fall colours were stunning! I loved relaxing in my private sitting area enjoying the sunset. The tents are perfect. You feel like your out in the wilderness but still have all the amazing comforts. Top notch food, and staff. What an experience! Can’t wait to come back!

We visited Siwash for a family trip including 3 generations and it is safe to say that everyone had the trip of their lives. The resort was devastated by wildfires a few years but has been built back to be the most unique places we have been. The serenity and beauty of the property is unmatched, the forests are full of life as they regenerate. We fished, rode horses, shot clay pigeons, hiked, floated down the rivers, did archery, ate and drank to our heats content. No details were overlooked from the 5 star riverside picnic to the home baked birthday cake they truly looked after every detail. The hillside starcamp with wood fired hot tub was a highlight for all, kids stayed up late watching the stars and drinking hot chocolate. Allyson, Marshall, Jana and team took the absolute best care of us and truly made it an unforgettable vacation.
