We have stayed over for lunch and about ten years ago stayed overnight. It's an old style colonial hotel and has all the hallmarks of the imperial Ceylon. Service was great though the place seems to be aging. Lots of memorabilia and stories to ponder. Rooms were clean and comfortable but not luxurious. It's an old cottage style hotel in...

Timeless hotel with lovely Colonial atmosphere, next to the old English post office. Good room with well-functioning air conditioning. It's a place where you can hear distant Buddhist chanting at four o'clock on the morning: simply magic. Good good and lovely stad!

Our favourite wind down zone when travelling to the hills. Quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Love the quaint old rooms. The weather is just perfect so there's no reason for heaters at night. One can always warm things up at the bar. Decent food and warm, friendly service. Don't forget to pick up a pack of tea!

Dropped in for lunch while on a business visit. They were kind enough to get the order over the phone and kept the food ready on arrival. That was a great service as we were on a tight schedule on our way to Ampara through Badulla. Fairly a good bar with most preferred brands. Accommodation too available and must visit...

We were there to have lunch and was well looked after. Was able to see around and experience the beauty of this beautiful hotel. Tasty lunch and wonderful desserts as compliments from our cousin at the front desk. I am glad I finally had the chance to make it to Bandarawela Hotel, after visiting Diyathalawa/Bandarawea for so many years.
