Beautiful building Great breakfasts and dinner Knowledgeable staff Comfy beds Free parking But .... could do better and turn it into an amazing experience 1. Soap is needed in the bathrooms 2. Replenish shower gel etc daily 3. Light the log fire every night 4. Turn the loop to off on the bar ... I don't need a loop if...

We stayed in Room Götz on the second floor of the main building, accessed by the circular stairs from the courtyard, or through the stairs to the reception and then through the breakfast room. The bedroom windows open out to the common area balcony facing the green fields. Luckily, there were no guests smoking while we were inside our bedroom...

We randomly picked this hotel and were so fortunate that we did. The hotel castle is fabulous, our room was right off the upstairs patio with a four poster bed and modern amenities. We had dinner at the castle and highly recommend it! The hotel staff are all great and very accommodating. This is a wonderful place to stay. On...

Just spent two splendid nights at this wonderful hotel. If you want to splurge, have dinner over looking the countryside. I had the best veal schnitzel ever! Breakfast is a real treat. Ask for a table overlooking the lower valley. We stayed in a great out building. It kept us away from the noise from the ongoing plays going on...

The incredible service at this family operated castle made us feel so special. Everything was spotless and breakfast was delicious. The lounge/bar is so relaxing that we ate our dinner here. This room contains the replica of the iron arm of Gottfried Von Berlichingen, a German imperial knight, who purchased the castle in 1517. The real arm is in the...

Certainly a hotel with charm, slightly spoiled at the moment by the erection of seating for a public performance in the courtyard. Rickety furniture adds to the charm. Lovely views, again somewhat spoiled by plastic sheeting over the lettuces plantations. Despite all, my sort of place.

Wonderful Schloss accomodation, warm and helpful staff who didn't fuss, but the small things they did made a difference. We were a party of 7, arriving at different times, we were able to use the bar lounge area and have tea and play games. Our main bedroom had the full four poster bed and medieval feel but the most up...

We stayed in this 500 year old castle converted to a family run hotel in July 2015. Our rooms were beautiful with the finishes from 500 years ago maintained and at the same time the bathrooms were modern clean and updated. The food in the restaurant was outstanding as was the breakfast. We didn't like the fact that there were...

Stayed one night at Schlosshotel Götzenburg with our 5 daughters. Had a 2 room tower suite. Slept very good and enjoyed the rich and delicious breakfast. Before departing the manager gave us an interesting tour of the castle incl. the prison dungeon.
