Just back from 6 day trip to the hirshin hotel on Black Forest trip with Caledonian / national holidays it is too long a drive to this destination unless you like sitting long time taken to expensive service areas then to hotel hirshin the hotel is nice the owner is lovely but as everyone has said food is horrible free...

This guesthouse is approximatly 7 hours drive from either Port of Rotterdam or Zeebrugge, We were placed in a room in a block behind the main restaurant/guesthouse, on the ground floor. We had a double bed, a shower in the ensuite, a chair, tv, hair dryer and small balcony. The room was warm, the shower was fiddley but worked, it...

Just returned from a National Holidays Christmas Market trip.This hotel should not be in their brochure at all.Rooms clean but basic although our room was not cleaned or made up on one of the 3 days we stayed.Towels old and past it,the food is the main issue very poor quality and small portions very little choice.Most of the 48 people...

On arriving at the "hotel" we were told that our room was on the second floor above the restaurant in the main building. Myself and my partner (who has mobility problems) struggled up the unfinished stairs to our room. WARNING, beware the tiny un-noticeable step as you go through the door on the second floor. Visited this hotel...it was it a Restaurant..as we were told...no where to sit after your evening meal, poor quality food, breakfast none existent, walk back to annex at night was terrible uneven road and poor lighting. Had to walk to the entranced of annex from bedroom to make a drink, poor quality rooms, needs re examining National Coaches, charge for...

Hi we have just come back from this hotel l must amit at reading the reviews l was a bit worried about arriving We went with National coach holidays. We found it great Value for your money and it was very clean and tidy the food was good and the two drivers were very good

"This is not a hotel" As stated by the male host when asked where the lounge was, " this is a restaurant if you want a lounge there is a hotel down the road" , as for it being a restaurant my god trash food. Also do not believe the description given by national coach holidays. No tea or coffee...

Stayed in annexe , rooms clean but basic. Paths to hotel had poor lighting and ground not very good for elderly people. Meals were ok , staff very pleasant , downside being you ordered your evening meal ar breakfast. But overall not to bad for the money been in worse places.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a National Holidays coach trip,the hotel is in a lovely quiet village just outside Elzach,ideal for hiking or other outdoor activities,the hotel staff are both freindly and helpful and the lady that owns the hotel speaks very good english the rooms are both spacious and airey clean and tidy,The food is quite varied...

The room was OK but the towels had seen better days.the food was different but not great.the service was poor .time from set starter prebooked main and set sweet took over an hour.the relaxation area was the dining area after meals finished.the shuttle bus to elzach was the local bus service that was a bus pass for train as well...
