We visited Dilston Mill hoping for a peaceful break from city life and we were not disappointed. Set in stunning countryside with beautiful riverside views from the spacious garden, the B&B was among one of the best we've ever stayed in. Susan and her son Merric were the perfect hosts, delivering a hearty breakfast with meat from the local butchers...

We stayed at the B&B at Dilston Mill as a family of 5 for a weekend. The setting is beautiful, right by the river with a lovely garden. The rooms were clean, spacious and very well equipped. It was great to have your own small kitchen and these were well stocked with teas, coffee, and biscuits. Susan, the host, was...

We arrived having driven up from south Wales at 2.30pm. I was keen to find our accommodation whilst there was still some daylight, due at around 4pm at Christmas time. Satnav is not always reliable in Hexhamshire, and we nearly missed the small sign indicating the narrow, muddy and potholed lane to the Mill. The more prominent Dilston Mill House...

It's our third time staying at Dilston Mill (says it all really!). This time we are staying in the Private Suite, a suite of four rooms on the first floor, with its own private entrance and stairs. We were greeted warmly by Susan (lovely to see her again), and find our rooms to be spotlessly clean, comfortable and to top...

A lovely country location about 5 minutes drive from Corbridge. An exquisite garden alongside a stream which plentiful benches which have been thoughtfully placed. There is a public footpath just outside the house if you like to stroll or run into the county! The accommodation is very nicely done with one double room and a twin room. The beds are...

What a truly beautiful, tranquil and serene setting for a b+b! Dilston Mill is a historic corn mill next to a wonderful stretch of river, in a rural setting and yet just minutes from the wonderful northumbrian town of Corbridge. The building itself still retains its previous function's charm though sadly the mill mechanism has now disappeared. Never mind. As...

Lovely B & B located close to the village of Corridor. 25 minutes walk and about 10 minutes by car. We had our own bathroom and kitchenette next to our bedroom. Very good choices of hot and cold for breakfast. Susan who owns the B & B is very helpful. The grounds of the B & B are beautiful.

We'd found a gem. We stayed for a couple of nights in the 'Private Suite'. The location is quiet with wonderful scenery. Listening to birdsong and the river rushing by. Easy to find and located between Hexham and Corbridge. Lovely rooms with views of beautiful gardens and river. Breakfasts were wonderful with so many options including a cooked breakfast made...

Dilston Mill is a lovely guest house in a quiet location with easy access to Hexham and Corbridge. The studio was very comfortable and the breakfasts served in our room were delicious. Susan was very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed here last month on our wedding anniversary. Couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay. Susan was a very friendly and welcoming owner. It's in a quiet location with lovely views of the river from our room. We had a separate breakfast room with a large window seat, well stocked cupboards with cereals, home made jams, marmalade, honey...
