Bonnie Braes is a lovely place to stop over - comfortable and quiet, nestled in a beautiful valley, and Colette and Gerhard Engelbrecht were very welcoming. But be warned - it's actually on the road close to the Swaziland border on the N4 rather than in Ermelo itself as indicated in the travel directions (not Colette's directions but the fault...

Me and my husband were travelling through Mpungalanga and were actually planning to sleep in the Forever Resort in Badplaas. This turned out to be so bad that we asked for a refunds and drove on. About 40km from Badplaas close to the community Lociel (Travel from Lochiel to Ermelo on the N4, there is a dirttrack after 4km on...
