These 2 brothers Andrea and Roberto are everything that everyone has said in their reviews, and more. Upon our arrival from Bologna area, we still needed a SIM card, and had run into 2 Wind Cellular stores with no English speaking reps. Andrea helped us find one that did in a nearby town, and we were off and running. Andrea... More

We've had the privilege of many Italian vacations and stayed in some wonderful places. We would add Locanda Del Feudo to that category. Expect an inn that puts you right into the center of medieval Castelvetro di Modena. Expect gracious and warm attention during your entire stay. Expect great, beautifully served food (don't miss dinner there) with one of the... More

The Locanda is in the medieval heart of Castelvetro di Modena and is run by Andrea and Roberto with consummate charm and skill. Roberto's cooking is sublime and we ate here every night bar one during our week's stay, from his inventive menu. The accompanying wine list is particularly good, and strong in locally produced and organic wines. Andrea manages... More

Three other male friends and I were touring various car related venues and stayed here four nights. The hotel is run by two brothers, Andrea (a sommelier) and his brother Roberto (a Michelin rated chef). Roberto suggested wonderful local wines, reasonably priced, and Roberto performed magic in the kitchen with main courses and desserts. With only six rooms it felt... More

We arrived the weekend of the grape festival so the village was busy and driving/parking in the old centre was difficult. Fortunately Andrea took our car and found somewhere to park it. We had a top floor suite which was comfortable and more importantly quiet despite the festivities happening below. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the philosophy of... More

We booked our stay here so we could experience a balsamic vinegar tour and they also had bikes. The hotel is in the middle of a castle surrounded by a village and vineyards. The hotel has old world charm and family run. We arrived during a wine festival which made the trip even more enjoyable. The bikes were rented through... More

We arrived late and got to see Castelvetro all peaceful and quiet and lit up. What a view! Then it only got better. Andrea was waiting for us and her showed us around and brought us to our room on the top floor. You can hear the pride and the love he has for this place in his voice and... More

We spend two wonderful nights at the Locanda Del Feudo and hope to return. The care and attention Andrea and Roberto place in their business is very clear. The facilities are charming and well maintained. The restaurant is amazing and we had one of the most memorable meals in our three weeks in Italy. The hospitality is genuine and warm.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The meal in the cellar was superb, the staff were amazing and we loved our stay there. I am also vegetarian and it was one of the best vegetarian meals that I have ever had! Views from around the village up there were spectacular as well. Will definitely stay there again!

The quintessential Italian Country Inn with a great wine cellar lead by Andreas and a wonderful restaurant headed by Roberto. I want to move in. Highest standards of service and hospitality. The rooms impeccable, beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Nothing has been overlooked. The town is beautiful, in a perfect setting, on a small hill top. Do not change a thing!... More
