Great location. Really quiet. There is a nice view towards the sea. Very organized kitchen and service staff. Awesome food prepared with love. Prepare yourself for lots of mosquitoes. Even the spray couldn't help at 100%. The hvgwgsroom was clean, bathroom organized. For the people with dogs. Train them better or leave them befor coming here! I'm not paying 150€ and then some big horse Dogg to bark at me as he is in it's own house!!!!
Positive: - Nice appartements/holiday houses - Clean and well equipped - Very confortable beds - Terrace with nice view - Playground for young children Negative: - The blinds in the bedroom are only blinding part of the light (+/- 75%), so the morning sun will wake you up. - However, the most important negative point was, unfortunately, the breakfast. The breakfast experience was definitely not on line with the rest of our experience. Due to Covid-19 you had too complete a paper to indicate what you wanted to have for breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was than served at your table. The idea of serving breakfast at the table in Covid times was good! No remarks on that. However, the execution Of the idea was poor. The first morning we arrived at our table at 10 am (breakfast is served till 11 am) and some of the special small breads and sandwiches were already out of stock. So, we received mainly ‘ordinary’ bread with our classic breakfast. When we asked for a little bit more bread, we received one extra slice, the last one that was available that morning. - The second morning, a Sunday morning, we arrived a little bit earlier, around 09:40 am. On Sunday, you have the option to select ‘croissants’, what we did. However, we never received any croissant! - The third morning, we received the classic breakfast but without the ham, chicken, .... and other ‘toppings’ that we received during the two days before. We only received two types of marmalade. On top of this, when we asked for some ham, we received half a slice of ham, half a slice for two adults and a young child! We understand that you can’t have a normal breakfast buffet during Covid times, but since we still paid the full price I would at least have expected the same quantity and quality! If you go to this location: go early to the breakfast and don’t be afraid to select many items from the breakfast list. …
We spent 2 nights. Location very well situated as start point not far from many sites to visit in Rügen, but in calm and nice surrounds. The maisonnette suite was quite nice, clean and well equipped. The kids loved the garden, where they can play at a pond. Breakfast very good.. We also had a nice dinner: fresh food, well cooked and correct prices and service. This is definitely a place to recommend and where we will return.
Great food, great sleep, comfortable room (ground floor rooms have patios, so can sit out and watch bats at night and birds in daytime) in peaceful and agreeable surroundings with helpful, professional and pleasant staff.Thank you for the romantic start to my birthday.
Stayed for a weekend with my 4 year old. I had invited other families with kids around the same age but they were unable to come. What a pity because it would have been perfect. But even with just the two of us it was lovely. The terrace rooms access straight onto the inner grassy area where there is plenty of space for a picnic or playing for the kids. The kitchenette was good for preparing snacks and hot drinks. Only basic cutlery was provided so if you want to chop up fruit then you have to bring your own knife or peeler. The meals were good and breakfast was adequate for the size of the hotel. Breakfast consisted of the usual German fare - cold cuts, breads, spreads, fresh fruit, plus cereals and scrambled eggs. Sagard was a short bike ride away.
