6 of us were fortunate to get all the rooms in this absolute gem of a place on Briar Island. We had family visiting Canada and treated then to whale watching. Finding Victoria place was an extra teat. Spotlessly clean, wonderful warm welcome, thoughtful , generous and caring. Her place is a delight for all ages, be charmed by the most adorable dog in the most adorable dog Bear, and be delighted by Alpacas, a beautiful horse, sheep, cuddly kittens and cheeky chickens, a play area for kids all ages and a beautiful setting on acres of green fertile land. For thosr in to enertgy like us - SOUNDBEINGS sound therapists; the energy is amazing both inside and out. A beautiful location, a beautiful person and a beautiful memory - we will be back. THANK YOU VICTORIA

My husband and I stayed two nights at Hooking by the Sea. Victoria is one of the warmest, welcoming people I've met. You expect a certain amount of friendliness from a bed & breakfast establishment, but Victoria goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with a certain casualness that made you feel at home. She has a variety of animals on her place, and it's wonderful to watch the rabbits, chickens and kittens. She's also located right where the action is. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Victoria and Hooking by the Sea again.

Warm, welcoming, and very accommodating visit with Victoria and family. Our 7 year-old daughter enjoyed visiting the alpacas, kittens, chickens, and sheep. The playground entertained her as well. My wife and I enjoyed the hospitality and didn't want to leave. We stayed one night in the house and one night in the Big Bert room. Both were very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and abundant enough to keep you from getting hungry while you go watch whales. Highly Recommend!!

Victoria welcomed us into her cozy historical home right from the start. Being surrounded by Vicky's amazing hooked rugs was such a treat. She's incredibly talented. Visiting the various farm animals was such fun! Fresh eggs in the morning was wonderful! Good conversations with all who were visiting. This was one of the most memorable experiences for my husband and I. Thank you, Vicky & Little Bear (woof)!
