We stayed at this hotel when I was 7.5 months pregnant as a part of our 'babymoon', last holiday as a couple and we wanted it to be special. Thats why we chose this hotel, as it looked gorgeous on their website. We payed the heavy price for 4 night and stayed in one of their best room, cannot recal...

We stayed at Chateau Massillan for 3 nights over the August bank holiday and were really looking forward to a few days away and very excited by what we saw on their website. However, unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations at all. First, the directions we were given by the hotel were useless and we wasted an...

We paid a EUR 1500 deposit on a reservation that we cancelled WELL BEFORE THE PENALTY DATE, and the hotel has so far only refunded 2/3rds of the amount. EUR 500 is a significant amount to keep, unlawfully. I have been operating tours for 11 years, and have never received such unprofessional treatment. It speaks volumes about the management, so...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July. The public areas of the hotel and grounds are really lovely and beautifully decorated. It really has the feel of a private house and we enjoyed a few peaceful days by the pool. However the bedrooms are not really done to the same standard which is a real shame. We...

My husband and I held our wedding here in May and I have to say it was the perfect location and we all had a fantastic day. we had fallen in love with the chateau when we first visited, we were made to feel very welcome and the interior is absolutely stunning. It is stylish and sophisticated without being stuffy...

The beautiful Chateau de Massillan reveals "two sides of the same Denier" (french medieval coin)...on the one hand, it offers one of the most tranquil and transcending settings. We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 children (13 and 10 yrs). The chateau itself is stunning, inside and out - marvelously appointed to preserve the intimate castle feeling while offering...

After a long hard 6 months at work my husband and I treated ourselves to a week at Chateau de Massillan. It was expensive, but the travel was easy (Eurostar from London) and we felt we deserved it. First impressions were good (although we balked at the paying up front too, is that really necessary?). The hotel looked lovely and...

Hard to know where to start with this one. We booked the suite as we were told that they only had air conditioning in the suite so we decided to pay the extra (a lot extra) so that i could get a decent night's sleep (i am currently 8 and a half months pregnant and it was 30 degrees outside!)...

What a beautiful location, everything is amazing around this castle and cannot wait to return, mostly felt like we were the only guests there as the only time we met other guests were during breakfast and dinner. Dinner was one of the top 10 meals I have ever enjoyed and initially we would only have dinner at the castle one...

I have to advise that you avoid this hotel, as you can do much better elsewhere. The building is beautiful, but we found the effort was contained primarily to the common areas and not to the rooms. Our room was small and boxy, and the adjoining bathroom was clearly done on a budget. Worst of all, the airconditioning was luke...
