Located in the hills, 300 meters high in the heart of the Mediterranean scrub, the SarAnd Relais offers the opportunity to stay in one of its 15 rooms located on the garden level, with the swimming pool surrounded by green hills, the restaurant with a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea and on the Pontine Islands, and our organic farm. A farmhouse where the vision of relaxation and the philosophy of a kitchen with products from their own farm merge. The extreme attention to every detail is a dream made and managed by our family.

A fantastic place with food and views to die for. The locally grown food and locally sourced wine are delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff with Andrea and Erika so welcoming and warm. It makes it very special; not to mention Flick the lovable dog. Missing it already and must go back

To start off our journey we ventured up a mountain to which the views were spectacular. The family who run the hotel are so welcoming and went out of there way to help us and cater to our needs.
The restaurant is situated on the terrace which on looks the sea and the food is delightful.
Pool area is very relaxing and even the sun beds are 5* with a choice to have dip in the hot tub for a small price.
If been picky I have to sleep with the TV on and with it only having Italian channels it was frustrating not having wifi In the rooms as it's only available at reception. So bring plenty of books if you go and can't understand the language.

Located up in the hills between Sperlonga and Fondi, SarAnd Relais is a beautiful, tranquil agriturismo not to be missed. Every detail is perfect...from the comfortable rooms to the manicured grounds complete with swimming pool and equestrian center, to the beautiful views of the sea below and mountains around you. The owners and their staff offer warm and attentive service. 70% of the food served is grown or raised on their 50 hectars of land and it's a must to share lunch or dinner there. It's a lovely escape from the city, or the perfect place for an intimate family gathering. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

This agriturismo, on a working farm, is located on a hilltop, therefor rather far away from everything after a long and narrow road winding to the top. Once up there you arrive in an elegant, well-kept resort of just a handful of bungalows, a nice swimming pool and a main farm building which houses the restaurant, the reception and the business centre. You are on a hill top so the view 360 degrees around is breath taking, all the way to the sea!
The actual farm is on another hill across a small valley so there is no smell at all, you just here the animals from time to time.
The relais is run by the family: Pina and Corrado started it and named it after their kids Sarah and Andrea. Both now help run the organisation and are fluent in English.
The large rooms are grouped in a few low-slung buildings, with all possible comfort. Large beds of good quality, air conditioning, flat screen TV, a sofa and a desk, all good quality. Some rooms have a private patio with sunbeds.
The restaurant is located on the west side of the refurbished farm building, so you can enjoy the sunset while having dinner on the terrace, weather permitting.
The food is simply fantastic. Pina is the chef and she surprised us every time with very tasty and superb looking dishes, mostly with local produce and meat. Apparently other family members like cousins and aunts help in the kitchen and elsewhere. Andrea is a young and ambitious waiter knowledgeable about Italian wines and international beers. Sarah serves breakfast most days and does the reception. The breakfast was first-class with plenty of fresh fruit, sweets, meats and cheese, bread and jams and most interestingly morning zabaglione with fresh eggs from the farm.
The grounds are kept spotless and near the pool there is also a large jacuzzi to enjoy privately or with family and friends.
It was to me an example of a well-run high class but small boutique resort emphasising quality and refinement.
The only two minus point are the difficult cell phone connection (because of the isolated location) and the wi-fi, only in the main building. Apparently, there are plans to get better cell phone service next year. I would also advocate switching off or lowering the outside lighting at night so one can enjoy the stars!
We were very happy to have found Saran relais by chance and will try to return soon. Thank you all very much for a very nice stay!

A little bit difficult to access via tiny roads in the mountains, but once arrived I didn't want to leave. Very nice swimming pool, beautiful garden full of fruit trees. The food in the restaurant is of a very good quality and taste. Perfect for romantic escape, I will definitely come back again.

What a find! Relaxation is the name of the game here. The rooms are delightful and the food is to die for. Could not fault it in any way. It was quiet when we stayed as early May but they couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely recommend and want to return!

We could only stay for two nights, what a pity. This agriturismo is a small scale, very peaceful assembly of separate small houses which each harbour a few rooms. The superior room was large and comfortable. Every room has its own entrance. Beds are excellent. Outside you will only hear the birds and crickets singing. You will enjoy beautiful views of the Apennines behind and the Thyrenean Sea with the Sponti Islands in front. This is also the view you will enjoy at breakfast / dinner and at the swimming pool. The swimming pool is rather large, with many excellent sunbeds and parasols around it. And with telephone to order drinks and snacks. Service is excellent and very friendly. The beach south of Sperlonga with fish restaurant and bar, which is managed by the family, is a perfect choice and only a 25 minutes drive away, like Sperlonga itself, a pittoresq town on a cape. The cuisine of Sarand Relais is good too, with meat from the family's own farm. You will have a wonderful and very relaxing time in Sarand Relais! We will be coming back - and you as well, no doubt about it!!

We stayed here for two nights on our Honeymoon in Italy. This is the most beautiful location and outstandingly amazing hotel we've stayed in. It feels exclusive and luxurious at B&B prices. The family are so friendly. Most amazing restaurant everything we ate was spectacular. If you like luxurious surroundings, enjoy beautiful scenery and are a foodie this place is for you. 70% of the produce is grown and reared on site. They produce their own olive oil, stock amazing organic wine - it's perfect. I can't wait to go back! Note the hotel is pretty much on top of a mountain but the track road is fine you just have to persevere and keep going, it's obvious when you come to the entrance it's beautiful and there are a few signs to look out for on the way up to confirm you're going in the right direction! There's also a riding school and the family's farm - can't recommend highly enough.
