This hotel has the best views over the estuary The staff make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. They looked after us caringly when we had a visit to the nearby hospital with a health issue and we would like to thank them all. The food is excellent all home made hearty pub style. Breakfast is...

After a full day's walking in the area we spent a relaxing night at Ye Olde Fighting Cocks and what a great choice it was!! Friendly staff, great food and beer (can recommend the Fighting Cocks ale) and fabulous room overlooking the estuary and the snow capped hills. Arnside has a rather genteel feel about it and is a refreshing...

A lovely place, with fabulous views across the bay, this hotel has a nice bar area for drinks and seating area for food, with friendly, helpful staff and exceptional customer service from the Owner (Tony), and his staff. We discovered this place by chance, after travelling by train from Ulverston. As a large party of ten, we were unable to...

We stayed here while cycling the Morecambe bay ride - it was great (and made even better by having a corner room with views across the bay from two windows. We didn't eat in (breakfast a bit too late for us) but there was a brilliant chippie nearby. They also had a very attractive pub garden mounting high over the...

Having booked to stay 2 night's here after watching 4 in a bed, We were expecting a little bit more in a 4 star b&b. The landlord was friendly enough, as were all the staff, offered us a free upgrade to a front room with view of the estuary, We believed we had already paid for this in the options...

All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening here, the menu was good and we were all pleased with the food we were served. The pub was busy as you would expect on a Friday evening and there was a bit of a wait that we didn't mind but we were all disappointed by the unfriendliness of the waiting staff...
