Enormous and potentially beautiful old hotel, but very tired and appeared to be staffed by about 4 people. Beautiful terrace but almost impossible to get a drink to enjoy it with. Staff were pleasant but there just are not enough of them - good job there were hardly any clients there, heaven knows what it would be like if it's...

This hotel has kept its old world charm while being updated to a high standard.. On arrival there is a large 3 story car park with lifts to the hotel ground floor only a short covered walk to the main buildings. The grounds are large and very well manicured though the swimming pool is a little dated and was out...

This hotel is the best i have ever stayed in in Italy. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. The room i had was amazing and the bathroom was to die for. I will return. The food was great at breakfast and dinner. There are 2 members of staff that were outstanding Kevin and Rossella nothing was too much. They also both drove...

The room was comfortable and recently renovated, the breakfast was fine and the staff were helpful. Why only 4 out of 5? Well, the hotel had no heart. There was no bar or lounge, everything was being done on a budget and the clientele were Coach Parties and conferences. It suited us perfectly as a base from which to visit...

We had a lovely time staying in this beautiful villa. The staff were very welcoming, and, as a bonus, spoke excellent English. Our room was fine, with views over the garden. I think it had been refurbished, whereas our daughter was in a single room, which was a bit tired, by comparison...but she was quite happy with it, and only...

The villa itself has a lot of character. The rooms are standard (3 star comfort level), lobby, common areas and breakfast area were run down. Outdoor sitting space is great. The location of the property is not great, you need a car to get anywhere. Service was disappointing, slow and erratic. Breakfast was chaotic, half of the items were missing....

We have just had 5 nights here. The setting is great with the gardens and it is an old villa but modern in the bedrooms. Our room was a good size, very clean on arrival and well cleaned each day. Breakfast buffet each day was good and plentiful with hot and cold choices including prosecco !! Scrambled eggs and bacon...

We were 3 nights at this terrible Hotel. When we arrived we were searching the receptionist for about 15 minutes until we could check in. The coffee machine is still not working and about the breakfast I cant loose a word because it was not there! At last the rooms are cold like the water.... Never again!

I expected more from a 4-star hotel. The location is excellent for a peaceful holiday. However - out of 9 nights hot water was not available in 4 - lift was not working in 3 - breakfast was all cold! Even if there is a warmer it is always off! - one time the coffee machine was not present since...
