It was a nice room, clean and tidy. The service was good and people were friendly. I would recommend it to anyone. The place location was excellent because it was at the centre of the historical medieval city. I would stay in it again.

We have now 3 times got cheapie flights to Rome and then stayed here. It is extremely easy to find in tarquinia which is a lovely town. It is perfectly clean and comfortable and many rooms are quite beautiful , and it is in a perfect position in the town. The breakfast is worse than we expect of Italy, though....

Dear Guest, we regret so much that our breakfast looks so bad to you; on the contrary, many foreign tourists like so much all the typical handmade cakes we prepare and the vaste variety of food they find (continental taste) as yogurt, fresh fruits, orange juice, muesli, and all our "salumi" and cheese. But the next time you will come,...

We arrived late from Rome airport, on our way to Florence and stayed at this hotel for just one night. The lady at the reception (Flavia) was very friendly and gave us a standard room, on the ground floor. It was clean, neat and quiet, but with no windows. It was enough for a good shower and a good rest,...

My wife and I headed to Tarquinia looking for a quite rest day after landing at Fiumicino from Australia. The journey took about an hour. Our room at Camere del Re was a standard one, smallish but functional, quiet, and equipped with flat TV, air con, hair dryer and mini fridge. The 3 euro parking for 24 hours is very...

We stayed here for one night before a cruise. Had a lovely room overlooking the main square. Staff are very friendly and helpful, although there is not much English spoken, (they have more English than I have Italian)😉 All in all a very comfortable stay, and good value for the price.

Rooms exactly as shown. Very central location, good breakfast on private Courtyard/Terrace, parking nearby was available, but not plenty. 3 Euro/day city parking very reasonable (anywhere within the city).

We had two separate short stays here during a lengthy Italian holiday in 2014. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and in particular, when a local service station automatic pump 'swallowed' my 30Euros and supplied no petrol, the staff were fantastic in cashing the oil company - for weeks after we had moved on. Rooms are...

Wer've just spent a whole week in Tarquinia, staying at Le Camere del Re, and would highly recommend it. It's not fancy or pretentious, but the rooms are beautifully decorated, simply and tastfully furnished, and comfortable. Everything is immaculately kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and always smiling. It's an old building, so power outlets are limited -...

Our last day in Italy before heading to the airport was in Tarquinia, a lovely village on the Lazio coast.
