the room with lake view is spacious and half board meal is quite good, as well. Inside the room was decorated in a traditional way. I just stayed there recently it's quite cold out there. The heater in the room was not warm enough for us. It's only a blow of wind that's it. It was located opposite to JR...

While the room itself was comfortable (the only thing disconcerting was the big step up into the toilet), overall this hotel is a bit old and tired. The staff were cordial but did not go out of their way to be friendly or helpful (no, we don't have wifi; yes, other people have experienced trouble with phone reception in our...

The service was extremely accommodating and welcoming....

“If you want to stay in a traditional room with space. it's the place you're looking for.”

“Ask for one of the larger Japanese style rooms. They are very spacious and could easily sleep 4, with a separate sitting area and atrium. Allow at least 2 full days in order to see the lake and the National Park. There is plenty to do for several days.”
