Bright and airy self contained 1000 ft2 suites , and a 2000 ft2 house overlooking Orofino Vineyard and Mountain and the spectacular Similkameen Valley are the perfect home base for a dreamy wine or outdoor themed vacation in this beautiful part of the world. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, mountains and a short distance to the picturesque Similkameen River, the suites and guest house offer all amenities needed for a relaxing get away. We have a 1 Bedroom suite, a 2 Bedroom suite, both complete with large vaulted ceiling kitchens opening onto a private deck with barbecue and seating overlooking our vineyard. The 3 Bedroom guest house has an open spacious floorplan, and multiple outdoor sitting and dining areas. Bicycles are available for borrowing to explore our wonderful valley and Orofino Winery is conveniently located next to the suites.Laundry facilities are available upon request.
We wanted to break up our drive from Nelson to Vancouver and decided to stay at the Suites at Orofino in Cawston. What a wonderful part of the world this turned out to be. Keremeos/Cawston is a wine producing area that has lovely vineyards, tasting rooms and restaurants. The recommendations by the owners at Orofino turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. The suite at Orofino that we stayed in was beautiful and Immaculate. We just cannot say enough good things about it. It was huge and had wonderful views of the vineyards and mountains. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing. Then owners Virginia & John are top notch. They supplied the suite with local coffee beans and cream to jump start our morning while sitting on the balcony overlooking the vineyards. The suite is spacious, clean and has a fully equipped kitchen & bathroom. The Webber BBQ on the balcony is a bonus. Only need your luggage. Everything is close by for exploring the Similkameen. I’m so impressed with the valley. The wines are exceptional. Orofino wines express the terroir and are complex and yet well balanced with a long finish. Plan on at least a couple days to explore and sip many wines in this area. A stay here at Orofino is the first stop. Randy & Carol-Kelowna BC

We stayed at Orofino Vineyards for 2 nights which was not long enough. The suite was spectacular. If you wished to eat in, all needed culinary amenities were available. The complimentary bottle of wine and local coffee beans was a really nice welcome. The attention to detail was outstanding. The view of the vineyard and mountains around was beautiful and very relaxing. A wine tasting of the Orofino wines is a must. We would highly recommend the Vineyard Suites at Orofino if you are visiting the Similkameen Valley.

The Suite was beautifully appointed with lots of space and fantastic views. The large balcony had a BBQ, table and sunchairs. The large kitchen with a big fridge/freezer was very well equipped. The host, Virginia, was superb and gave us fantastic tips. Nice restaurants and other vineyards to visit are very close, the country roads are quiet and one could take a bicycle everywhere. The Suite was super clean with lots of towels provided, even towels for the beach. The three days we spent at Orofino were too short and next time we will book a longer stay. There is lots to see and explore in the wine valleys.

We have wanted to visit Orofino since first tasting their wine years ago and we were just thrilled with our visit this September. The suites are spectacular with every single detail considered. Incredible view overlooking the vineyard and mountains, welcoming and generous hosts, close to world class restaurants and amazing hikes. As luck would have it they were harvesting Pinot noir and we spent a few hours in the fields to feel part of the Orofino world. Thank you Virginia and John for creating a very special place.

the pictures are real. that view is the first thing you see when you enter the suite. we had the 1 bdrm suite. bathroom is large. bed it big. the view of the vineyards is amazing. take a glass of their wine (which we did join their wine club after this experience) and sit on your suite balcony and enjoy the views. thanks again Victoria for being a super host. we will definitely be back again.

We stayed at Orofino for three nights in June 2022, a getaway from Toronto to relax. While I have spent a lot of time in Kelowna, this was my first time visiting the Similkameen Valley. The suite was spectacular, and the view from the deck of the suite - simply outstanding. Quiet and serene, Orofino is a great place to get away from the stress of big city life. Service from the hosts was attentive and first class. Orofino makes great wines, and the other local wineries, cideries and local restaurants in Cawston, Osoyoos and Oliver were terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the stunning, comfortable one-bedroom suite. Incredibly spacious, beautiful, clean, quasi-Scandinavian design, fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous bedroom and ensuite, large deck with BBQ and the most relaxing and amazing views over Orofino's vineyards. Enjoy the stars from the deck or wander out into the vineyards - no city lights!! Great wines to taste and buy at the winery, mere steps away, and to enjoy with your gourmet home-cooked meal! Just delightful!!

We rented both suites for a family wedding weekend in Cawston. The suites are beautiful, well stocked for self catering. The touches of fresh flowers, delicious coffee beans and a chilled bottle of bubbles made our welcome over the top! We will be sure to stay at Orofino again.
