I liked my experience with Fluchthorn. The bathrooms are big, the beds comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I've chosen Fluchthorn (or Galtür in general) because of its closeness to ski pists like Ishgel and the various trekking paths. The hotel is directly on the main street which makes taking the bus for skiing or renting ski equipment (all in proximity... More

The hotel is relatively new, rooms are nice and location is great. We stayed with 2 small kids for a week incl. half board. Food was ok as well but we totally missed any warmth or hospitality as well as service you would expect from a 4 star hotel (unfriendly or incompetent reception, no help with luggage, nothing for kids... We chose this as a late option due to the availability and Resort Height with Inghams and were very pleased with it. The Hotel is in the middle of Galtur Town with a Bus stop outside to take you 5 Mins to the very quiet Range of Silvapark with some nice little runs and a reservoir for some nice selfies.... More

Stayed at this hotel a few years ago, it has now been completely refurbished, to a very high standard. Booked a superior room and must asy it was well worth it. Modern room with large balcony and lovely modern bathroom. Plenty of storage with a walk in type wardrobe and storage area. Many hotels lack the storage when skiing, not... More

We stayed at this hotel through a very good value ski package with Inghams (apart from the usual moan about there being no reduction for self organised travel but their offer was much cheaper than booking direct with the hotel). The clientele were a good mixture of Austrians, Germans and Brits with no group dominating. The Fluchthorn is an old... More

Hotel Fluchthorn is the Hotel if you are looking for that perfect romantic Winter holiday. The rooms are typically Austrian style furnished and have a nice size. The bathroom is very practical and the even have a underfloor heating! Pool and an extensive Sauna area are part and parcel of the Hotel. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Since... More

Smart and comfortable hotel with swimming pool and spa facilities. Rooms are modern and well appointed. Nice bar, although I think the Austrian National Smoking Team were staying whilst we were there. If you have the half board option you will enjoy excellent evening meals with a choice of main courses. In fact if you can finish all 5 courses,... More

A beautiful, alpine hotel which has recently been re-furbished. Located in the quiet alpine village of Galtur, this is the perfect antidote to the party scene in Ischgl. There are regular and prompt ski buses to Ischgl and this hotel represents excellent value for money, charming hosts and obilging staff. Special mention to the lovely reception staff who always has... More

We stayed in the Fluchthorn hotel in Galtür for 6 nights in December 2012 with a family of seven persons, all grown-ups. We were very pleased about the hotel. The hotel is newly decorated (opening 7 December 2012) and has expanded. We had chosen for rooms in the new part that are more expensive than the rooms in the old... More

Have just come home from a weeks' stay at the Fluchthorn. We booked it as part of a package holiday and the hotel represented good value for money as part of the package. The hotel is located in the centre of the small village of Galtur. There is no skiing in Galtur itself, but the hotel is less than a... More
