Bass lake’s campsites are great and ablutions immaculate BUT the neighbouring lodge played loud music until 12:00-ish the Friday night and then started again 8:00 the next morning and continued as such all day and night, sadly this was my last trip to Bass Lake Lodge, I just need peace and quiet and they cannit offer/guarantee it anymore...

When we arrived we were greeted by Angeliqe and directed to our campsite. They send someone to assist with settling in but as we're in a motorhome there were no need just organizing the campsite to our liking. An hour there and we were treated to icecold orange juice send by reception. We were informed that there shop only carried the bare minimum before arrival so we were prepared. The entire time was spend relaxed walking and having a splendid weekend. Will definately go more often and with more friends and familie.
Thank you
Bass Lake

On arrival we were greeted by Angelique and her vibrant personality & friendly smile. She made us feel so welcome. Received a ice cold welcome juice which was so delicious, to cool us down. Shortly afterwards, smiling, friendly Maxwell came to help pitch our tent and get us settle in, in no time we were ready to start camping & relaxing. All the staff was so friendly and helpful greeting whenever they passed by your campsite. Clean abulution facilities, & well maintained camp park & garden. The animals passing through the park made one feel so close to nature.
Angelique would pass by our site everyday to hear how we slept & if we were still enjoying our stay.
Well done, Basslake staff, you once again made our camping experience an unforgetable experience.

We visited Bass lake and were pleasantly surprised with the fully grassed campsites, awesome ablutions and amazing settings around the dams. Fishing for bass is quite the art but other people did catch so there are definitely fish. My only problem was no mtn cellphone reception that for some people it could be a blessing but for me it was a big problem as I was on call.

Upon arrival at the resort, we were greeted by friendly lady who did the check-in while you were sitting in your vehicle, and she directed us to our camp sites, which were just down the road. The next thing we saw was one of the resort ladies walking up to us with four glasses of fruit juice. How amazing are that?! The camp sites were immaculate and they’re fully grassed and shaded. The ablution and washing up facilities were absolute 5-star, and it ranks amongst the best we’ve seen at a camping resort so far. We definitely recommend Bass Lake Lodge as a camping destination, the kids had a blast trying to catch fish and running around the camp site, and we enjoyed the facilities and the stunning camp sites. Definitely adding this resort to my “Must Visit Again” list
