Mati Hotel

Staff is amazing and very accommodating, we arrived early in the morning and were able to check into our room. After a long journey to get to Greece, this was a blessing. The grounds are beautiful, the bar is pleasant and the restaurant inviting. The was the perfect basecamp for the week. I recommend a car if you are staying in this area.

Quietness and Coziness

Amaaaaaazing! Great place to stay near Rafina. Quite and cozy, great view and clean rooms with wonderful beds and sheets. All you need is right in front of the hotel. Nice helpful staff great value for money

Excellent family run hotel

I've stayed in Mati many times over the last years this was my first visit to the Mati. What a find an absolute gem amongst the usual 'corporate' hotel approach. The staff on reception were, happy, helpful and efficient. The lobby and public area were was warm comfortable and welcoming. Our room was clean of adequate size and well furnished. The heating was efficient and easy to operate. The bathroom was clean and not cramped. The bed was extremely comfortable, with 2 quality pillows each. Breakfast was excellent, hot, frequently replenished. Amidst all these pluses what really stood out was the staff. From the owner through to the breakfast chef and night staff the attitude towards the guests never wavered, it was first class. The Hotel is able to arrange taxis at an extremely competitive price, better than at the rank. The Mati will definitely be my hotel of choice in the future. …

A friendly and welcoming face

We recently found ourselves in a difficult situation in the wee hours of the morning in Athens as we were making our way back home to Australia from a trip of a lifetime. It was wonderful to be welcomed so warmly at 2am by the night staff at the Mati Hotel. A welcoming face and a warm smile meant the world to us at this time. We would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in Athens. They have clean comfortable rooms, beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and a lovely breakfast provided in the price of our room. Thank you so much for your hospitality. You will never know what a difference you made to our night. Warm, friendly and helpful worked really well for us. Taxi to the Airport later in the day was a fixed price and very convenient and punctual. Thank you!…

Wonderful hotel

We stayed at the Mati Hotel on our return to Athens. It is a fabulous place to stay with warm and friendly staff . The fires devastated the area which makes them so grateful for your stay. The food and the morning breakfast were excellent and the staff very wonderful, even adjusting the greek music at our dinner. A wonderful place to stay in Athens and about a 20 minute cab ride from the airport.
