We stayed for a 3 night break to beat the New Year blues, the package is excellent value for money. The rooms are small but have everything needed, lots of storage for walking clothes, tray for muddy boots, coffee and tea making, good hot shower, toiletries and a lovely warm clean room. The rooms are just outside the pub which...

Booked here between Christmas and New Year 2016 as a base to explore nearby countryside. Its a great base and beautiful parts of North Yorkshire literally on the doorstep. Pleasant greeting and helpful bar staff throughout. Good range of real ales. Hearty and plentiful food. We ate here both nights and had breakfast. No issues with service. Only words of...

Visited on evening before New Years eve.Very busy, well decorated, warm, friendly pub.I had the soup which although obviously home made lacked flavour. My main course was chicken curry which was also very bland probably due to the watered down sauce which gave the look of soup! Maybe worth another visit when kitchen not quite so hectic!

My friend and I went to North Yorkshire for some walking. The Hotel is wonderfully situated for Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle (which was shut when we got to it). The countryside is beautiful and we had a lovely stay in The Bolton Arms. The staff were very friendly and we were able to book into the restaurant for a...

We stayed here for a wedding at Bolton Castle. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and they were super helpful. The breakfast was really nice and they even specially got veggie sausages for me. The room was clean and warm with good facilities. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Yorkshire Dales!

The Bolton Arms is a typical Yorkshire Pub, at the upper end of service, friendliness and quality. Great food, quiet and perfect for a break. The carpark is a little small but double parking seems to be part of the fun!

This is one of the best pub/restaurants in the area. In common with other places it is also dog friendly, if required. On that case you sit in a Cosy section between the main bar and restaurant. This is just as comfortable as the restaurant with plenty of atmosphere, away from the main and serving door draughts. All 3 courses...

Excellent pub. Cosy rooms. Not very big but definitely value for money and well equipped. Certainly big enough for a 1 night stay in our case or a weekend away. Food was top notch and the portions a plenty. Good beer at average prices. Very friendly landlord and staff. Pub was busy but friendly local atmosphere. Only thing i would...

We visited on a high recommendation from a friend. Frankly we were very disappointed. The food was good but the accommodation very poor. We were in room 3 an outside annex room. The outside end wall was angled, the inside wall was not. The bed was square to the outside wall which meant it was angled to the internal wall....
