This is a business hotel in the sense that it's in a commercial area (on the main street, tho' set back a bit so it's not noisy); check in and out is super efficient; pricing is about right for a Tokyo suburban business hotel; and the rooms are efficient, clean, and comfortable. It's a step up from normal, tho', in...

We stayed in this hotel for extended period of time due to our business in Kichijyoji. During the stay, we asked for help of their staff on minor things. All of them are very friendly and highly trained to help guests in very professional way that made our stay very comfortable. Ok size of the rooms that come in full...

The hotel is a "Japanese" hotel...I don't know what that really means but after 12 days in Japan and staying in a mix of Japanese and let's call them American style properties, I would say that Japanese hotels are really more about practicality over style/amenities. I don't mean this in a negative way but this hotel is just a very...

My heading sums it up. Not many frills, but clean and efficient with friendly and helpful staff. My room ( single ) was small, but in true Japanese style all I needed was designed in. It's in an interesting area, lots of quaint side streets to explore and plenty of varied eateries within easy walking distance. Bus ( non-stop to...

I stayed about a week and was very happy with the comfort and convenience. Good bed, excellent service, short walk to the station. Even the make-it-yourself coffee in the room was good (280 yen per cup though). There was some cigarette smell in the hallway but I kept the air purifier running the whole time and my room was pleasant....

A good central location and a short walk to the train station. The rooms are small, but we requested twin beds that gave us a little bigger room. The hotel and rooms are clean and the bathroom is modern with a nice bathtub. We had an average breakfast one morning in the coffee shop/dining area, which had both American and...

Stayed five days (four nights) across New Year in Tokyo. Chose the Daiichi in Kichijoji because I have stayed in a few of their properties elsewhere and the experience was good. However, a lack of availability at a sensible price drove me out the the suburbs - standard twin, JPY28,000 per night, booked two months in advance. The hotel is...

The hotel is very comfortable, clean and modern. Several restaurants located within the facility all are top-notch. The staff Is extremely friendly and cordial. Proximity to the train station is about a 10 minute walk and easy to find. The area is flanked with hundreds of restaurants and is a shopping mecca.

I am a frequent traveler to Japan and stayed many times in Daiichi. This is a typical Japanese hotel so expectations in regards to room size should be set accordingly. Other reviews mentioned differences between rooms that face the street compared to those that face the internal lobby, however in my opinion there are minor and rooms are very similar...
