A simple property with all the facilities and amenities to get the feel of the jungle. Well appointed and maintained rooms, a nice clean restaurent with buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner. delicious food with the option to order something of your choice well in advance. The staff is polite and helpful but not professionals. The resort is probably for the 'foren'...

We stayed at Tiger Trails for three days at the very end of February. The lodges are quite simple but perfectly comfortable and have everything you need. The location right next to Khutwanda Gate into Tadoba could not be better. Tiger Trails feels as if it is virtually in the jungle and indeed encounters with wildlife around the lodges is...

The owners of this lodge are the ones who make such a hotel feel terrible to stay in. The staff is nice and the property is lovely however the owners are extremely money minded and will harass tourists in order to get their money. They over charge especially for the safaris that take place in the buffer zone. Even a...

Situated right at the edge of the stunning Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve, Tiger Trails is probably one of the best wildlife and conservation focussed lodges we stayed at during our entire photography trip to India. We also visited the Chambal, Little Rann of Kutch, Sasan Gir and Blackbuck. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a refreshing drink...

This resort is in an excellent location v close to one of the gates to the reserve. The resort is in a peaceful location well away from the road and you feel surrounded by nature. Rooms are spacious but basic with limited places/furniture to store clothes. The bathroom (en suite) was in need of refurbishment (although clean and functional) and...

The good points first the rooms are spacious and clean with large balconies however they are not luxurious if that is what you are expecting. Food is some of the best we had on our trip to India however only a few choices so do not expect a large buffet. However there was always a decent vegetarian option and for...

The best thing about the resort is its great location at the very edge of the forest. Also, the staff are friendly and helpful. But unfortunately the plaudits for the resort end there. Of all the resorts at Tadoba, Tiger Trails Resort is the most highly priced. For the five-star rates they charge one would expect service and facilities of...

Lodge recommended by the travel agency. There is no doubt that the location is fantastic and you are immersed in nature, and so close to a quiet gate makes getting into the park a very easy task. The rooms are basic, but clean. We found the food to be delicious. Majority of staff were super friendly even if their English...

Tadoba Tiger Reserve is probably the sanctuary with the highest probably of seeing tiger (primary) and other wild life animals and birds in India. We saw 3 tigers, sloth bear, leopard, gaur, mongoose, hundreds of deer/monkeys/snakes/birds in 3 safaris in 3 days. The Tiger Trails Jungle Lodge is located inside the buffer zone of Tadoba at Khutwanda Gate. Great hospitality...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Thickly clad hills form the north and western boundary of the Tiger Reserve. Half way along the western boundary of the Park, the hills contours, to form the Chichghat valley where the TigerTrails Jungle Lodge is located. It is ringed on three sides by the Park forest and is adjacent to the Khutwanda gate. To the south is the Irai lake, approx. 30 sqkm. in size and forming the southwestern boundary of the Tiger Reserve. The Lodge is set in a private wildlife conservancy with it's 100 acre private forest surrounding it and is dotted with numerous perennial waterholes large and small which have machans/hides suitable for day and night wildlife photography. Since the forest starts from a few feet away, Tiger calls come creeping close. All game trails coming down from the park hills, to these waterholes have 24X7 monitoring by Trail cameras. There are currently 06 Adult Tigers and 05 cubs visiting our waterholes, and tracked by the our cctv and trails cameras. These can be seen live in the dinning room or on our Facebook page - 'Tadoba Tiger Reserve'. We have an exclusive Tadoba National Park entrance gate. So no queues. The entry gate lies adjacent to the lodge and is connected to the center of the park, so shorter drives to all park wildlife areas. The Lodge area is untouched by any kind of tourism or development and offers the discerning guest the guarantee of privacy, as well as lovely walks and hiking trails around the lodge. While most parks have a reputation of being over crowded with lodges, we have no neighboring Resorts, villages or highways. The Park is completely accessible in all areas from our gate. Our green effort to our forest and the National Park Jungles adjoining, has won us the prestigious " John Wakefield Memorial Award for the Most Inspirational Eco Lodge in India 2012" from the Travel Operators For Tigers, a UK Wildlife Travel Industry body as well as the Maharashtra State Icon for Eco-Tourism 2013.We have achieved the highest audit ranking of "Outstanding Accommodation Provider 2014" by United Nations recognized Sustainable Tourism criteria, GSTC TOFT. ... more   less
