Detailed Reviews
To call this place a gem is an understatement. The location could not be better with beautiful views of the harbor, from our room and from the terrace accessible to all guests. The room has AC, an amazing rainshower, and the best blackout blinds ever! We were so happy with our stay and definitely recommend!

This gorgeous little place was really special.
First, all the finishes are brand new: it’s beautifully renovated inside, and the bathroom is clean clean clean. Definitely luxurious, especially in a town where the accommodations & decor tend to be quite modest
Also, the location is great: the place sits right on the komiza waterfront, with a romantic view of the bay through wood-shuttered windows. You wake up to sounds of the birds over the water. Tho not too early, Bc it isn’t loud.
But better than the accommodation or the location is the host. Marija and her family were so welcoming and accomodating. She welcomed me and made me feel at home. She also made herself available by What’s App 24/7, even going to far as to help me find parking in the middle of the night for a music festival that was happening nearby. Needless to say, that’s above and beyond.
These are nice, family-oriented people who’ll go out of their way to accommodate you.
I highly recommend B&B The Little Gem.

We stayed in Soba 1, lovely modern room with quiet aircon and great shower. fantastic views from the room. shared balcony area downstairs was great for having a quiet drink in the evening. the couple loking after the place were incredibly nice, not much english, but you could always talk to their daughter who had good english or email if she was not around. Komiza has good walking and canoeing in the bay. There are great bars and restaraunts on the waterfront and cheaper more authentic ones hidden away. It was pretty hot when we stayed, so we mostly went to the town pebble beach just by the harbour which has good shade. Tourist board on the harbour.
Everyone goes to the blue cave on the neighbouring island of bisevo, so choose your boat and time carefully, best in bright sunlight and you are more likely to get a better experience if you are first or fastest boat leaving or maybe later in the day.

We stayed for two nights in apartment Nr 2. It was very fresh and newly renovated. The apartment did not have an astonishing view, but there is a terrace that can be used. The terrace has a beautiful view against the harbour. The house is situated in the centre and is close to everything

We stayed in one of the studios in this small B&B and liked it a lot. We had walking distance to everything and still it was very quite. The studio is not big, but not small either. Had everything we needed and was very clean and newly renovated. The outdoor terass was not used by any of the other guests.
