Detailed Reviews
Vis is a lovely small fishing village, with lots of small restaurants. Ksenija has a good location, the bus stops right outside the house. You have a short walk down to the sea and the small centre with shops and restaurants. The hosts speak poor english but are helpful when they understand, she is better than Luka. The apartments has all you need including a large balcony/terrace.

We stayed in the top floor apartment for two weeks in august '17. The apartment was nice and clean and had air condition which was good as it was very hot the two weeks we stayed there. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The views from the terrace are amazing. We strongly recommend this rental apartment.

My wife and I spent two nights here in May. After driving ourselves crazy comparing apartments in Vis Island, we chose this place and were not disappointed. It was perfect in every way. Stop looking and book with confidence!!
Komiza is the better choice of towns on this island in our opinion -- peaceful and not touristy and a more beautiful view. Easy to drive between places on the island so you will still see Vis Town. These apartments were super easy to find and there is free parking on-site.
We had the one bedroom apartment on the top floor (attic) and loved it so much. The view was simply stunning -- no way we could have found better. Apartment is clean, spacious, bright and airy with an equipped kitchen, amazing shower and comfortable bed. Big balcony to eat your meals and stare aimlessly at the sea. Hosts were friendly (but speak minimal English) and did not disturb us at all, yet were available if we needed anything.
You can walk down to Komiza in less than 5 min. Easy to drive from here to other spots on the island.
We were sad to leave but left rested and refreshed. At an incredible price, this place should definitely be your choice if coming to this island!!
On a side note, the island is small with not much to do. Restaurants are hard to choose -- we highly recommend Konoba Stoncica for an authentic and fairly priced meal. It's a bit hard to find but well worth it!! Pizzeria Charly in Komiza was good too

Stayed 3 nights on our trip to Vis, in one of the 1 bedroom apartments with a balcony, fantastic apartment, everything we needed and more. View from the balcony was amazing. Owners were absolutely lovely and the location was less than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Komiza.

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon in July 2015. We stayed in the top-floor apartment, and it could not have been better. The ONLY complaint we had was that the shower is tiny, but oh well. Otherwise, the apartment is large, the bed is comfortable, and the balcony is amazing. We cooked our own fresh, delicious breakfasts each day, and we spent many hours on the balcony. The view is outstanding. The apartment is located a short walk up a hill from everything you need. The restaurants in Komiza are unbelievable, and inexpensive. We are both dying to go back and would definitely stay here again.

The room, in our case the studio with sea view, was exactly as pictured. It was large, the balcony was comfortable, and the bed was fine. The hosts are a pleasant couple but are seldom at the property. The beach is a quick four minute walk down the street. One issue is signage: the guesthouse is not clearly marked. When taking the bus from the ferry, make sure you get off one stop before the final stop. The guesthouse is then two houses down the street. Otherwise if you get off at the final stop the guesthouse is very hard to find. Komiza is relaxing but there is not much to do unless you take a scooter trip around the island, which I highly recommend. We went to a lovely restaurant, Ferol, on the south side.

Nice, modern and clean apartments in Komiza. The location is excellent with only a few minutes walk to Komiza city beach and town center.
The owners is speaking little English, but are welcoming and private.
Balcony was not very large on our floor but the view was amazing. Kitchen is basic but with the most things you need. Wifi was very good. AC was quite loud though.
Highly recommended overall.

This place was very cute and had amazing access to the eastern end of Vis. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to those who are on a budget and want to enjoy the beaches, the food, and the laid-back living of Vis and Komiza. Everything was clean, the room was big enough and we were pleased with how quiet it was.
I realize it's a big ask for a tiny Mediterranean Island, but it was a bit of a hassle to have to trek to the 3rd floor (we were on the ground floor) just to get wifi. If the wifi worked in our room I would have given them 5 stars!

Stayed on the top floor in last week of September. Our pad was clean and had everything you needed, fully equipped kitchen and a great balcony overlooking the sea. Cost us 750kn for two nights which I think is v reasonable for the size of the place and location. Literally round the corner from the centre of komiza , going the other way your not far from a beach. Great place I'd reccommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay on the island of Vis. Our first night the power went out in the whole town and the owner knocked on our door with a full bag of tea candles. The apartment was huge, had an excellent view and was clean. Plan time between showers since this apartment, like all the others has a small on demand water heater. The good news is in about 10 minutes you're good to go again.

Sorry I haven’t replied before. We book our ferry tickets in advance, online, which is very easy. I think it is fairly regular. There is also a catamaran which runs from Split to Vis. I think it runs twice a day.
I do not know about connections between Zagreb and Vis but I assume it will be easier to travel from Spilt.
