We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the Storeroom bedroom, which was lovely. The house is full of character and quirkiness and we got to see the waterwheel in action which was fascinating. Evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. Good hill walking is nearby with spectacular views (and very deep snow on this particular occasion!) We...

Stayed for three nights in this wonderful converted old mill. The hosts Neil and Jane were friendly and very helpful with Neil providing details of some fantastic walks. The homemade and local produce helped to create a special breakfast and the evening meal was a very high standard and excellent value for money. In our spacious room there was a...

We stayed at Low Mill Guest House for one night as part of our trip around Wensleydale. Not sure how you start a review about such a quirky, eclectic, weird & wonderful place. There is so much to see and everywhere you look there is something of interest. Neil and Jane have done a fantastic job of restoring the mill....

Spent the night at Low Mills and we were very impressed with every aspect of our short stay. The building is steeped in history and has been lovingly renovated making it as comfortable as it is interesting. The owners could not have made any more effort to be attentive and cater for our every needs, particularly around some dietary requirements....

We have stayed at Low Mill many times over the last five years and never get tired of staying in the same accommodation in the same village. This speaks volumes for Neil and Jane and Dotty and their commitment to excellent service, and there suburb attention to detail and pride in their accommodation. Couple this with excellent Food and Wine...

I wish I was as talented as the couple running this amazing place. Not only did they have the vision to buy low mill and transform into this beautiful bed and breakfast, they are fantastic hosts and great cooks. We stayed in the workshop WOW! Just wish it had been a bit colder so we could have lit the log...

Loved it! Gorgeous place, lovely touches in the room (local chocs, fudge, shortbread). Spotless, comfy, relaxing. Delicious breakfast with homemade bread, tasty deep yellow eggs. We had an evening meal there on the second evening - definately a good choice - wonderfully fresh and perfectly prepared Definately recommend

I'm not sure what I can say that hasn't already been written! We spend a fair bit of time staying in guest houses and such like around the UK as we have such a beautiful country and there's so much to see. We will most definitely recommend to our friends and family and will revisit for sure. Even with the...

First of all, I reiterate everything already said in all of the other 5 star reviews – fabulous! But I’ll add my own bit as well. Low Mill is a bit like stepping through the wardrobe into Narnia. My husband and I have just returned from a short break (4 nights), staying in the Workshop Room, and are planning our...

We have just returned from another relaxing weekend stay at Low Mill and feel wonderful for it! The first time we stayed there, we knew we would have to go back, and indeed we have now visited four times in as many years. Its hard to know where to begin to explain just how special a place this is. The...
