The first thing I noticed was how very close the hotel/restaurant was from the small beach of Dunmore East. And the room we stayed in had the most magnificent view of the sea, the small bay, the restaurant terrace and the cliffs. It was breathtaking. The second thing I noticed was the smell of paint. When we arrived there they...

Stopped into the Strand Inn for dinner and it was delicious! Massive portions and it was so hearty. Wire the fireplace lit the whole pub was cosy and quiet. Stayed to watch the rugby with a beautiful view of the sea behind us. Would highly recommend the Inn and would love to go back and stay.
