We stayed here after a big day of walking. Very helpful staff, comfortable rooms with plenty of hot water and the restaurant was great. We also had a buffet style breakfast. If you’re walking the Camino Inglese route you need to taxi/ Uber to and from Betzansos which is about 6km.

Was a great staying, air conditioned and very nice and pleasant and comfortable rooms. Strongly recommended! Just be aware that the city is a bit crazy by car since you don't have place to park on the streets always need to look for a parking which can be a bit far.

The Os Olivos is a 3 star, but deserves more. They opened specially for us on a Sunday, and provided a nice meal. Rooms are brand new, comfortable ans real quality fittings [Porcelanosa in the bathroom]. Although bergondo is more of an industrial part of Galicia, this hotel is a good place to stay to explore the beautiful coastline and Santiago de Compostels, the camino end point.

I stayed here for two nights. This is a small hotel, which has recently been completely redecorated. The rooms are modern and the design/furnishings of an unexpectedly good quality. Although it faces out onto an industrial estate at the front, the rooms at the back look out across the valley which made you feel like you are out in the country.

The rooms seem to be well soundproofed (I couldn't hear anything from the rooms next door, although they were occupied), but some noise from the very heavy doors slamming closed in the corridors. My only real complaint is that the pillows were thin and lumpy and ought to be replaced. Service was good. Makes a sensible place to stay if passing through. La Coruna is around 25 minutes by car; Betanzos 10 minutes.

I've given it 5 stars because of the amazing value for money - they could be charging far more than they are for the quality.

We visited at the end of July and our room had a fabulous view over the valley. The rooms air conditioning worked very well and was quiet although we had to make some adjustments to deflect the air stream from our daughters bed which was situated under the vent.

Our bed was comfortable although the bed for our daughter was a fold away type and a bit on the small side. Our request for extra blankets was soon provided although it would have been better if they were available in the wardrobe, along with a few extra coat hangers.

The accomodation was very clean and the shower room was excellent. In the restaurant the food was local Galician and quite delicious but with no English translation of the menu we were at a bit of disadvantage especially as some of the waiters English was as bad as our Spanish.

The Manageress was particularly delightful and ensured we were well looked after even arranging a day out to a local forest and monastery as we had no car. Cheap and regular Public transport is easily accessible from the main road 10 minutes walk away taking you to La Coruna, Lugo, Bergondo & Ferriol if you don't fancy the stress of driving.

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here while walking the Camino Ingles. The Hotel is a short Taxi journey from Betanzos. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and clean. I decided to eat in the Hotel Restaurant and wasn't disappointed, food very tasty and good value for money.

We had a stop-over in the hotel “Os Olivos. This hotel is has a private parking, elevator etc. The welcome on the reception was very warm and friendly. Our room came with a private bathroom and TV, the bed was comfy and the room had a good size. We also used the restaurant from the hotel, and we can tell that it was more than ok, quality / price, and on top the kindness from the staff. To resume we can tell that we had a good night of sleep, you do not have any street noise into the room. We can warmly recommend this hotel, and will certainly return there when we are traveling in the area.
