This is a really welcome breal on the Camino Inglés. Great Baths, very comfortable beds, and a good breakfast The town is full of character and well endowed with great places to eat. there are 2 good Italians within yards.

First of all, I give them a 2 instead of a 1 because rooms are mostly OK. I stayed there as part of a group. They are not ready to host big groups with some requirements. Examples: food was very low quality. No one would serve you this food for more than 5€/menu. Just asking for a decaf was a...

This hotel is ideally situated in Betanzos. We spent two nights here while doing the Camino Ingles. Jorges the receptionist was fantastic and organized us a taxi to collect us in Prosedo and take is back the next morning (there is only an auberge in Prosedo). Worked out well and Betanzos is a great town and Hotel Palecete is great....

This should be the perfect three star hotel, and it scores very well on what is important to us, and to deserve our five star excellent rating in this category during our short stay to attend a wedding. The very good points :- The hotel is well enough located and is very clean. The hotel front of house reception staff...

When we arrived here in the afternoon very tired from the extreme heat on the Camino, Ingles, we were directed to a room which hadn't been prepared. The young woman on the reception was very embarrassed and gave us complimentary cold drinks in the cafeteria - which was fine, but I really did want a rest! The room was fine...

Thanks for your words; we can grow and become better with any comment. About your check in; for any person that are working on the reception is hard to say someone that have to wait... On the Camino one of our party felt rather unwell . This hotel has a staff that have personality and local knowledge which was required as we had neither the local language or any idea of the doctors in the area . Well done to all at the Hotel on behalf of all of us. We enjoyed the town and...

Having stayed mostly in hostels on the Camino Inglese I was disappointed with the facilities and lack of 'extras' in the room compared to some of the hostels. I was hoping for better but the only saving grace was that it was central and withing easy reach of the trail.

This hotel is now known as Hotel Palacete Betanzos, formerly known as Palacete San Roque. The location is just up from the main central area of the beautiful town of Betanzos. I hope to return to this beautiful jewel of a city one day! The hotel is very nicely appointed with an extremely helpful receptionist. The elevator happened to be...

I stayed here for a night while walking the Camino Ingles. The hotel is easy to find, central and the room I was given was spotless and looked comfortable. Reception was friendly and efficient. Some issues were that I was on the ground floor and by my window was the street, which was noisy with people shouting in the night....

We were so happy to stay here. We had an injured party from the Camino and the rest of us had had a very long walk to Betanzos. Our injured member was taxied to the hotel where she met Esther, the receptionist. She was amazing! She immediately began helping to find doctors and pharmacists and had a room ready, at...
