Stayed here due to most hotels being booked out (Volvo Ocean Race weekend). Both rooms were clean enough, fresh linen every day, good enough location. For 9 nights staff made little or no effort to engage or show any hospitality. Didn't eat so can't comment but looked clean enough. Would stay again if need be but no more than average.

For a three star hotel La city was good. The place was clean and the staff was mostly really nice. We eaven got good tips for what to do in Alicante. Breakfast was ok, but maybe they could change some things sometimes because to eat those same foods all the week began to feel boring.. Still it was nice that...

I remember this hotel opening a few years back and I'm sure it was lovely when it first opened however it seems the owners have done very little with it since. It's plus points are that it has free WiFi which seemed pretty reliable and it's location couldn't be any better if you have to catch a train because it...

Chosen completely on proximity to the railway station, we returned out hire car here (just around the corner for Europcar), slept and caught an early train for the 5 hour trip to Barcelona the next morning. The hotel was adequate and serviceable with a small breakfast room.

Stayed here for 7 nights, having arrived on Boxing Day ’13. We found the staff friendly & very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is diagonally across the road from the railway station, (ideal for visiting other cities of interest), & a short distance from tram & bus stations. Our large room on the 4th floor was very quiet,...

We chose this hotel due to its location, being situated directly over the road to the train station (as we were catching a train to Valencia to spend a few days at Las Fallas festival the following morning). We took a taxi to the hotel from Alicante airport which took about 10 minutes and cost only 17 euros. We stayed...

This hotel is ideally located in Alicante. It is within walking distance of the Tram Station and is just across the street from the main train station which offers connections all over Spain and to the south of France. The main shopping streets are close by and so is the main harbour area which provides activities for children and a...
